Atrocious customer service. It feels like the staff are intent on creating every opportunity preventing a sale I sent a simple drawing of the item I want to make, with measurements, and requested a quote on 3 different types of material. I was refused a quote on the basis that I must provide a cutting list. I nearly expected the sales person to know something about material and drawings while working in The Board Store
Webafrica wowed me initially with super quick response and delivery. I was so eager to give them business that I applied for VOIP lines for my home and business in November, shortly after fibre was installed very efficiently and on time. I wanted Telkom out of my life because of their non existing service. I requested Webafrica's offered porting service to avoid the hassle of losing numbers which have been institutionalised because of the many years of service. So now I am in the position of having paid money upfront for porting services never supplied, despite having raised various follow ups and receiving lip service, but NO ACTION. Tickets raised have been closed without delivering and even a note was raised on the VOIP numbers that porting has been completed (both VOIP to the same Telkom number) Webafrica has thus far excelled at not living up to their promised service. I have requested refund on two separate occasions and amazingly, have been thoroughly ignored. I purchased merchandise on Sunday 10 Dec 2017 from Picardi Rebel in Willowbridge and spent over R3 000. I regularly bought my beer, wine and spirits from them over the past 3 years. I realised that I also needed ice and requested 3 bags. Price approx R30-00. The manager refused to give me the complimentary ice, so I had to pay the R30-00. Mmmmm, bad taste in my mouth. 1% discount in these tough economic times. Not on. I definitely will not buy from any Picardi Rebel again. EVER! I also encourage other consumers who have a choice where we purchase from, not to support them. It is all about showing a little bit of appreciation for custom. Make your customer feel special. A little goes a long, long way.
