Excellent service, very quick and efficient. Been using for some years now.
We needed to uninstall a gas hob and replace it with another. The communication was constant and immediate; the installer was knowledgeable, kind, helpful and an absolute pleasure. In the end, the decision was made not to install it, as he found that the old hob could be fixed; it was astonishing to receive such stellar service.
We bought 2 Lafuma zero gravity outdoor chairs for our pool area from Plaisir Du Jardin in Constantia, Cape Town. Less than 3 years later, still under warranty, the chairs started disintegrating, with one of us literally falling onto the ground when the fabric snapped. We took them in and were told they'd be fixed within about 2 weeks, they'll be in touch. Since we haven't heard, we contacted them again and then we were told the delay was due to some workshop staff leaving or some such. Later when we checked again, the story changed to: "someone tempered with the plastic fabric attachments". When I said there was no way (we're not technical and wouldn't know where to start), they resorted to blaming us for not reading the manual and 'misusing' the chairs. When I said that we bought these for outside and that they were sold to me as OUTDOOR furniture, with no caveats, no special instructions, nothing - in fact, I was promised they are specially made to sustain normal weather conditions in summer (of course they were packed away for winter) - they shrugged their shoulders and refused to repair or replace at their expense. It was our problem, we didn't "respect" the warranty conditions and therefore we're on our own. When we came to collect them they handed them over, ice cold, formal, avoiding eye contact. Gone was the warm, convincing sales pitch of how great these were which is why they were so expensive! We will never buy anything else from them. Expensive, pretty and terrible post sales service with no respect for warranty, their word, or their customers.
Initially, when we installed the white shutters, they sent the wrong product, wrong size, and didn't hook them so they rattled, and we had to call them back. This was 2015. Fast forward to a year or 2 ago, the louvres start peeling. Ugly peeling patches everywhere. Their response? They'll hap[ily replace those, for over R15000....!
AirPods Pro (cost a small fortune!) stopped working after 1 year and 3 months - and Apple's technicians reply: "Buy a new pair"! I get that warranty ends. But for this product and this length of time this is not in line with the excellence Apple tries to sell. No flexibility is shown. Phoned service dept (after using iStore to diagnose) - well trained in saying "We understand, I agree this is not OK" but bottom line - not even a big discount or anything. They do not stand behind their own product!
I used to love this company and used it a lot. Until I bought a laptop which died after 7 months or so. It started well with the collection made, and communications to tell me how it was going (went to the Lenovo lab as it was beyond Takealot's 6m warranty). It took almost 2 months but I was apologised to, and reassured it will be coming back soon. On 26 Nov I received an email to advise it would be coming within 2-3 working days. Nothing came in. From that moment on I have been emailing, phoning, inquiring online, speaking to sympathetic agents - but the bottom line is - NO laptop. NO follow up once they accept I have NOT received it yet. I am sure by now it must have been lost somewhere - but where is the follow up, owning up to the fact it is now unknown where the laptop is and any resolution for me, having paid for it and waited for so long? It is mind boggling.
Great work is done, and a very agreeable and personable service by Shaheim. He knows his job, he is fast and very reasonably priced.
Caring and considerate, the staff and the doctors both. We have had good care for all our dogs there - but when one of them passes (and so far we had two while with this clinic) - they show amazing support.
Brilliant service - faulty item. I phoned customer service, who transferred me to Yusuf at Cavendish Square branch where I bought the item. He was super helpful, understood I didn't want to come into the store again at these Covid times, and within an hour or so a driver arrived at my home, collected the faulty item, and handed me the refund in cash! I was dumbfounded!
They are useless! I will give them that: they come quickly. But expect NO relation between what you order and what you get and then there is no receipt, nothing that explains what is missing and why; irrelevant replacements and no phone number one can call. I'll never use them again. Still awaiting a refund! And when sending an email they do respond automatically but they give a number that doesn't work.
