Southern Sun Maputo is overrated; from my experience the rooms need to maintain some level of cleanliness. The musty smell of the entire building, corridors and rooms was appalling. I had to cancel my second leg of my accommodation. The management of this hotel really doesn't make the whole experience any better, broken commitment and poor service delivery. The management promised to refund for the remainder of my cancelled accommodation, but that money has not been paid up 40 days today and still counting. I would not recommend any family from booking with them-vacation spoiler.
We checked in on the 23rd for a 3 nights 4 days holiday- what a time in hell at the Sun City Hotel. The hotel room had brown water and not only was its color but **** running out the taps. The tub, toilet shank and basin all the water was dirty. Room 407 then moved to 402 it was all back rooms or old disused rooms. As if the holiday in hell was not done , the man who is the food beverage manager was worse and the surbodinate supervisors. There was a Christmas dinner which we had paid for at check in but it would seem their systems are not linked. There was a long queue and we waited from 18:20 until reaching the serving counter at 19:40. The embarrassment to be told you hadn’t paid and the burden of proof, on you, for us to access the Christmas dinner. That so called F&B manager and all the subordinate supervisors, *********** not to have printed out the list of paid up customers for their dinner event to have been smoothly organised or managed. The surbodinate manager and the F&B manager (restaurant patrons) you would think they are not trained, perhaps they are the long serving personnel in the company put into senior positions but incapable of addressing conflict and managing reputation of the brand.
The traffic department is not putting measures to curb the spread of COVID-19. The level of sanitisation is simply nonexistent. Toilets are barely cleaned, the process of putting sanitisers for the public, at entrances, eye test machine and in the queue all of that is nowhere. Please take your part in fighting this pandemic as you continue to provide service to your residents.
Hosted my child's birthday after party at Fun company - Mall of the North, and their hospitality and courtesy was appalling, such a negative vibe.
Citiliner bus service drivers have bad attitude towards passengers. Am referring to the bus enroute to Harare from Johannesburg, where drivers treat passengers who are borading the bus at stations along the route i.e. Polokwane, handling passengers as if they have no tickets as well as requesting payment for luggage (any bag size<30 kgs. We pay for the bus and we made to feel as boarding this bus along the route is a favour.
