Cape Pools came to our rescue after a botched pool installation by Amadhla Pools (not listed here to be able to review) the team came in within minutes of enquiring, they accommodated us on budget because we’d just paid for a full pool installation and finances were low, the team was incredibly professional and quick. Pool sorted out the very next day, on a Saturday. Very grateful. Excellent communication with Ivan and efficient, quality work done!

Doing a sale with Discovery 10 out of 10? Staff are keen, efficient, super friendly. BUT, claim stage is a completely different story, is that not what insurance is all about? Having that help in a time of need. I've submitted a claim on Saturday 12th Nov for a cellphone, it was collected on Monday and couriered. Then, nothing. I had to call in on Thursday to find the outcome, only to hear "Oh yes, we did get the damage report" anyway, claim approved. On paying the excess to the cell company, I realise this is not the correct phone, so I look on my schedule and there is also the wrong phone... So on that same Thursday all I ask is for the sales recording to be sent to me so that I can confirm, granted I may have made an error, but seeing as though it was correct on my previous policy, I wanted to double check. And nothing, no feedback, I have to keep calling in each day since then and keep getting told that they've requested the recording. I ask to speak to a manager and am told that all the managers are in meetings. I mean, REALLY. It's nearly 2 weeks later and I have nothing, but tons of time waiting on calls to get feedback for my queries. Absolutely no communication from these aftersales staff. They could not be bothered. So disappointed. Ive been with Discovery forever on the medical side and am paying more for my insurance because I thought i'd get better service from them. Boy was I wrong.
This has been the worst claims experience. being robbed is traumatic enough on it's own, the loss of items which need imminent replacement, police station visits back and forth, blocking of accounts, combating fraud with attempted identity theft and needing to replace all my cards and on top of that dealing with this insurance is an absolute nightmare. They do not communicate with the client. NOT ONE email responded to, I have to call in every single time and then holding on for no less than 15 minutes and then the claims consultant he is NEVER available. I don't understand how such a supposedly BIG insurance company puts their client's value so low on the list of priorities... Really pathetic, I do not recommend this insurer. They will take your money, but they don't follow through with their promises.
Absolutely pathetic! I have had a contract with Cell C for atleast the last 5 or 6 years for my daughter. Last year they call me for another upgrade, for which I opt to take a new device. They post this device to me and the rest is history. So I put the old sim card into the phone and life goes on. This weekend the cellphone is stolen and I try blacklist the device so that I can claim from my insurance, and Cell C refuses to blacklist the phone due to the IMEI number not corresponding with the number. I have NEVER changed the number, I only have ONE contract with Cell C and this is the ONLY device they have ever sent me (previous contract was data used in my daughter's cash bought tablet) now my insurance is absolutely useless because of this. I have made numerous calls to them where they promise me that a manager will call me back, I am STILL waiting. There is no recourse for clients with issues, just lies and empty promises. Highly frustrating and total waste of money. misrepresentation of product use and bad advice given at sales stage. They just want the sale but not prepared to offer the service!
If there was an option for negative stars here that's what this company would get. We have lived in a newly built house for 3 months now and to be honest, it's falling apart. I have sent numerous emails but to no avail. After the building inspection was done there were no further concerns about fixing the "snags" because the builders were in the clear and there was no more to worry about as the rest was for the owners account. Let me remind you again, this is a NEWLY built home, we are the 1st to live in it! There has been a pipe burst, the fittings are falling out, cupboard handles not attached because the *****s weren't long enough, my entire back gate fell off and it took them a week and a day to come repair it. They dont care that my family and my animals are in danger. THIS WAS THE LAST STRAW. So we decide this isn't working for us, due to THEIR incompetence and poor service, giving them 2 months to find new tenants and now I must pay an early cancelation penalty of R11000!!! That, AND they will use my deposit to restore the house to the same condition they received it in (which was brand new) may I remind you again that this place is FALLING APART! So let me break this down for you. They are taking my deposit to fix a house that I didn't break, PLUS R11 000 for early cancellation (just a bonus for doing NOTHING), PLUS there are already other tenants who want the house, (so no loss of income for them) and all just because they can. Bull ****! What a bunch of scammers. I intend screaming this to anyone who cares to listed. I will smear this all over social media and report unethical practice to the EAAB. This will all again fall on deaf ears, because tenants are just pawns to this company, but i'll do what I can to warn the public about this company. I am a home owner myself, and just had to rent as we have relocated, but I am appalled beyond words at how these people are just there to make money, anything beyond that doesn't matter!

If there was a zero star option, it would be more suitable. Does this company even exist??? Trying to submit a gap cover claim and I receive NO response. It's like tying to communicate with the dead. Honestly, I would not recommend them to anyone!
