I don't know what happened to this business and why it's gone downhill. This used to be the flagship go-to business for appliance repairs in Pretoria. I have supported them since early 2000's. This is the first time I have had such a terrible experience. I handed a portable Delonghi Air Conditioner in for quote in Oct 2023. After many calls to the shop I was promised that they would get back to me but no one does. As of June 2024 it been months and I no longer have proof of the item I handed in.
I am dissapointed in the CarTrack product! I logged a complaint on the 10th Oct 2023, 21 days later and still no response. I moved over to Car Track for two reasons: 1) R150k payout if my vehicle is not recovered. 2) R20 cheaper per month than rival companies. My issues that I want addressed are as follows: 1) The product was advertised as including Trip Logging. 2) I could track near-real time driving and obtain usage stats. Trip Logging: - I have partial and incomplete trips logged. - I have incorrect distances logged with certains trips. Driver tracking and usage statistics: - I have delayed reporting/updating of these trips. - By the time I want to add comments or details regarding the trip I can no longer remember what or why or for whom I made the trip. - I have driven harsh, on purpose, to evaluate what would be "bad" driving statistics but this feature is absolutely useless and does not seem to work at all. During my testing the harsh braking and accelerating are NOT reported.
I am dumbfounded at how this company continues to do business like this. Had an 8am appointment, was there at 7:45 by 10:08 (time of writing) I had still not been assisted with my ultrasound.
Don't bother making an appointment here! I arrived at 7:45 for my 8am appointment, by 10:13 (time of writing this) I had still not been helped. No explanation provided.
In an industry obscured with lies and deception it was refreshing to meet two great salesmen at Auto Investments Wonderboom. Anthony who initially demo'ed the car and allowed me to perform a thorough inspection and then handed over to Charnelle who finalised the sale by assisting me with finance, warranty, vehicle tracking options and all the paper work. Charnelle also made sure that all my questions regarding the quality and integrity of the vehicle were addressed promptly and to my satisfaction. Well done team Auto Investments Wonderboom!!
Support ticket ZZQ-697-57524! Paid must subscription service on Dec 3rd 2022... On Dec 13 2022 my service has still not being activated!
I applied for a Home Loan Interest rate reduction after significant risk reduction. After paying every month for 12 years I have settled almost 60% of the initial loan. Added to that my salary has doubled and the property has increased in value, yet ABSA Home Loans department has not even given me the courtecy of responding to my application submitted in September 2020! I have sent countless follow up emails and escalated to managerial level and still nothing.
I ordered 8 x rubber bushes to mount my intercooler and sent proof of payment on the requested 50% deposit on the 12th Oct 2021. After hearing nothing back via email or telephone on the 13th, I sent a follow up email on the 14th asking if the payment was received and if the order was placed. I did receive an email back to say the parts would arrive on Monday the 18th Oct 2021. I sent someone to collect my order on Monday and when I inspected the package later that night I found that 6 rubbers were identical (should only have been 4), 1 rubber was completely incorrect and 1 was entirely missing. I sent an email on the 19th informing the parts manager of the mix up in the order and requested that the correct parts be delivered as soon as possible. Its now the 27th Oct2021 and I have not received a phone call or an email providing an update!
Originally purchased a product online on teh 5th Jan 2021. The product should have arrived by end of Jan to mid Feb 2021 which it did not. Due to all shipping items being delayed due to the current climate I was very patient and well mannered (I think), there were a couple of emails sent in Feb, March and April with none resulting in the delivey of my purchased product. By the end of May 2021 I could wait no longer and requested a refund. Several emails followed back and forth with many promises made to refund but no refund. This is a short summary of the dealings with this company: 1) Product ordered and paid for on 5th Jan 2021, paid R1,140.00 in total for my product. 2) Garth responded via email and confirmed delivery around 21st January 2021. 3) After two email enquiries Garth confirmed delivery was now scheduled for mid Feb 2021. 4) After many email enquiries Garth again said delivery was scheduled for first week in March 2021. 5) On 31st May 2021 I gave notice to cancel my order. 6) By 30th August 2021 I had still not received a refund. They are only reachable via email, with every email promises are made and nothing is delivered upon. I am sick and tired of companies like this, essentially stealing one's money and not delivering on the goods. Right now, I will not even consider the goods and the only recourse is a refund!
