One word... WOW! These guys blew my socks off during my fibre order (FTTH). After going through the motions of getting quotes and prices, my friend recommended them and I am not disappointed. The fibre was installed almost immediately (think it was like 5 days later). The router was delivered the same day they installed the fibre and that same night I was streaming netflix. And their prices are great! Thanks for the excellent service Rory!
What a tiring experience dealing with DSV. The agents who answer the calls are wonderful, but their team leaders are absolutely atrocious at returning calls. So my wife's phone broke, speaker on the phone stopped working. No problem, we will upgrade her cellphone contract. This was more than a month ago. DSV does not work a minute after 5, when you do call them, they cannot 'transfer' you to the appropriate person, this person has to phone back. So then they phone when it is not possible to speak. Try and return the call just to get a message "they will call you back". How can you work in an industry where the "customer" is working class (i.e not available during office hours), but then not work AT ALL after normal business hours???
Being a customer of Discovery insure for about 2 years now I have always been an advocate of the product they offer. Only to my dismay to realize that they are absolutely useless when you have an issue. nevermind the scenario, this is the service you can expect: I sent an email to their contact centre on Friday, 7 February 2020. I received a response now: Thursday, 13 February 2020? So if you want an insurer that ignores you for a week, this is the place to be.

Staff at contact centre is very courteous and friendly, but their procedures prohibit good service. My father-in-law is the main member on the medical aid. After joining the medical aid and while waiting the three months prescribed (as he did not belong to a medical aid before) he fell and hurt his neck. After several doctors appointments (for which we had to pay cash) the doctor scheduled a procedure to correct a nerve. We completed the application for pre-authorisation to which we get the standard "pending" response, but after 3 days of waiting I contacted the call centre only to be told the matter is 'under investigation' and they are unable to indicate how long the investigation might take? Meanwhile, the main member who is paying an insane membership fee, must suffer (physically suffer) while they cannot tell me how long the investigation will take?? I hear this prompt that Medihelp was selected as the 'highest rated' medical aid scheme in 2018, please live up to this reputation...

Only to leave without a satisfactory result and an extremely bitter taste in my mouth.</p> <p> </p> <p>If you at all can avoid doing business with this company (who's service delivery is WORSE than that of the South African Government) - DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH THEM.. You will definately be disappointed.</p> <p> </p> <p>While sitting in this terribly slow shop, countless people just simply "gave up".. Shouting - this is pathetic and storming out of the shop (so it is not just my personal opinion)..</p> <p> </p> <p>My story:</p> <p>After completely messing up my debit order last year (ie - trying to debit the account in the middle of the month and not at the end - like my instruction clearly states).. I moved to paying my account manually via EFT...</p> <p> </p> <p>Every month I get an SMS - Pay R******* etc which I then do at the end of the month... <br />After sitting in the queue for what seemed like forever, I came to the front (finally).. Then I get told , there is R200 "overdue" and now the cannot is being declined. No problem I say (I don't understand how it is possible to be overdue as I pay EXACTLY what you tell me to pay EVERY MONTH), but here is your money...</p> <p>Then I get told that it will only reflect on my account this NEXT DAY so you will not get the 50GB 'special' which is for 1 day only... But you have my money IN YOUR HAND - how can you say it does not reflect on my account - where is my money now???</p> <p>Needless to say I did not leave with a smile on my face, walked into a rival store (Cell C) - and walked out there with a data contract.. My other three contract will soon follow suit - been with MTN since I can remember, but it seems they just don't care about their customers .. Although I pay them >R2000 per month... Ridiculous....</p> <p> </p>
<p>I had the most amazing experience with Gezelles at the contact centre. She was extremely helpful, took my concern seriously and saw the problem through right to the end. Often giving me a call just to keep me up to date with what is happening!</p> <p> </p> <p>WOW! Never in my life have I experienced such service!
