Ordered a product from Takealot, with Outdoor and Velocity as the seller, and I was just informed my order was cancelled because the seller did not have stock. The item was listed as in stock, so clearly Outdoor and Velocity ether have NO idea what is going on stock-wise in their own stores, or they just don't care to update their item availability of Takealot. Now I have to go through the process of getting a refund online, a situation which could have been avoided if the business just kept their listings accurate. A store with such a lazy and pathetic business ethic does not deserve your time and money.
This review is focused on the Excess Recovery department of 1st for Woman. In March this year I was rear-ended and as per norm I got all the information from the driver at fault and we even went to the police together to fill in the accident report. Gave all the information to 1st for Woman, and at first the process was smooth. My car got repaired and I paid my excess. But then when it came to the recovery of my excess I hit a brick wall. After months of contacting their Excess Recovery department the answer was the same... they could not reach the driver at fault and have no information to contact her by. Well I gave that information to them at the start! So yesterday I call the person myself and within 10min I got her residential address, email, policy number and claim number. Today I gave that info to 1st for Woman, so hopefully they can start doing their job. My point is... How is it that I can get all the info they need in 10min from the same contact info I gave them, when their entire legal department hasn't been able to achieve this? Just to further show their incompetence, when I called the Recovery department yesterday they told me they have drafted a letter to the other driver stating that since they did not respond they are taking it that she does not have insurance and that they will now have to recover my excess from her pocket...BUT THEY DID NOT KNOW HOW TO SEND HER THE LETTER AS THEY DID NOT HAVE AN EMAIL OR RESIDENTIAL ADDRESS! PATHETIC SERVICE! I will be moving my insurance as soon as this issue finally gets resolved.
I keep getting loan offer spam from DirectAxis in both SMS and Cellular Call form. I have asked to be removed from your contact list multiple times during the calls you make to me, yet I still get your spam. Also doesn't help to block the SMS number as you keep sending spam from new numbers. I am now sick and tired of your ****. You DO NOT have my permission to keep sending me these spam messages as I have NO intention of taking out a loan from you. Looking at your score and recent reviews on Hellopeter and elsewhere, I can see that I am not alone in feeling this way. If I get another damned message from you people I will take legal action against you.

I am awaiting a package from Pretoria that was supposed to be sent to Bloemfontein via over-night shipping. Checked on the parcel's status this moning and found out the parcel was incorrectly shipped to Nelspruit. This has been the second time a parcel of mine has been misrooted / missorted by Dawn Wing Couriers. The first one was a package that I ordered from Cape Town and it was misrooted to Knysna. The package took 4 days to reach me, instead of 1. Now my package is in Nelspruit and no-one has answered my inquiry email sent to ********** I then tried to contact the 0861 223 224 number, only to be cut-off twice. I then contacted the Pretoria branch and I spoke to Lerato who sweared that she would call be back immediatly with a potential delivery time. It has almost been an hour... nothing.

Take my advice people... rather use The Courier Guy or RAM. Rather avoid Dawn Wing.

If Dawn Wing wants to confirm, my current waybill is ********** 454.
