I took out mobile insurance 4 months ago. After endless struggles with their ******* app and automated process everything was eventually fine. Today I noticed that the premium has jumped by 50%. How is this possible? No claims and only had it for 4 months. I will be cancelling immediately you ****mers.
Firstly, let me take the chance to express how happy I am to have closed my FNB private account. It is an absolutely atrocious account with no better service than a gold cheque account. I upgraded my account and for some reason, FNB decided to turn off my email statements option which I had for my premier account. Now when I request for email statements for the account from Feb 2023 up to closure I'm told it will be R50 per statement and a R750 charge. For digital EMAIL copies??? That is ******ion. How can FNB change my settings then hold my statements at ransom?
This is the second time that I have ordered an item and it says it will take 5 days to deliver. This is still a crazy amount of time today. Anyway, it is also the second time that after 5 days the tracker just gets updated with no communication and another 5 days it is added. I can ship an item overseas in 10 days but Takealot can't even send 1 item to me. I can't wait until Amazon or some competition light a fire under these ****bag's backsides.
You sign a 12 month contract and then shortly afterwards they jack up the prices. It's like once they have you locked in they can do what they want. Try cancel the contract before 12 months and it costs you....why can they change the contract at will and the client has no say. You should have the option to cancel in that case.
Hello, this is the second time I've reported that Uber has randomly deducted my account. I reported it on the app days ago and all I got was an SMS saying my card has been cancelled. Great! Now what? NO communication from FNB, do I order a new card? Will one be ordered for me? Any feedback on the transaction? It's like FNB just sits back. I will be closing my account and moving to Investec, a bank that does Private banking properly
What a trash online store. This the first time I've ever tried to purchase something and a few hours later I got a refund notification and was told I must wait 5 days to get my money back. NO other information like why? Is the product out of stock? Can I wait etc.? Just that they take your money easily and then have to wait to get it back because the website is horribly incorrect.
Is this the FNB private client experience? I will be moving to Investec shortly thank you very much. I reported 2 suspicious transactions on my account using the app and nowhere did I get any information other than a thank you message. A few minutes later I get an SMS saying my card has been cancelled and again no other information. And that was it from that point on, silence from FNB. I have been trying to figure out what is happening. Do I get a new card, must I order one? What's happening with the transactions? Why is there no upfront information when reporting transactions on the app etc? Anyway, after over a week and multiple queries, I have heard nothing from FNB. FYI your pricing guide page on the fnb.co.za website is broken and has been for over a week as well. Pathetic.
I was weary at first but was not disappointed in the end. Thank you Brian Sutherland and Hicell team for a seamless process and speedy delivery, and of course, great deal on my item. A free gift was even included.
And here we are again with nothing good to ever say about FNB. It really is as if they go out of their way to make your life hell when you bank with them. Why can I not dispute/reverse a debit order anymore? Is FNB joining sides with the thieving companies or taking a page out of the ANC handbook, making it so difficult to handle your own money while siphoning off as much from as us you can?? I was told by the entity debiting that it is an error and I should have the bank reverse it but now I can't so once again your clients are left with the ball in their hands and stuck between SA's most pathetic bank and useless companies.
Aaand here we are again complaining as FNB cannot solve any issues. Are you guys also too busy looting? Looting the pockets of your clients....anyway, I received comms that I would be contacted yesterday about opening an Easy account (NOT A SAVINGS ACCOUNT) but lo and behold, no contact. I also logged a query about eBucks as for the month of June I received 0 eBucks. I was called and first told I didnt meet the deposit criteria (After checking the person realized it is over 40k every month). I was told somebody would investigate and get back to me and now I get a random SMS simply stating I had no qualifying purchases for the month of June......really now?? As a consistent rewards level 5 person who uses my card for all purchases I have no qualifying purchases? Please sort yourselves out and come back to me or I simply move from FNB who have clearly learned from the current looters in SA.
