I upgraded my sky contract on the 1st of December. I still have not received my two new handsets (I was promised 3 to 5 days). I have phoned multiple times to be told that the phones are in the warehouse, then the phones are at the couriers. I called the couriers and they have not received anything. The last time I called, the agent told me that there is no stock of the S20 and I will wait till mid January. My complaints are: *I specifically got the agent to check availability when I chose the S20 (I had already shifted from another handset that was out of stock) *Why did it take MULTIPLE phone calls before I was told the truth - that they are out of stock. Not bumping me to and fro between MTN and the couriers. *Why was I not contacted when the S20 was found to be unavailable and offered another handset? *This complaint has been escalated and I was promised that a manager as well as the agent who initially helped me with the upgrade would contact me today. This has ALSO NOT HAPPENED. *What do I have to do to get ANY decent service here? I have been an MTN client for over 20 years but will very soon be moving to vodacom if this is not sorted out TODAY.
I have a Fedex account and have used them for international shipments before. This time, for "some reason" the parcel has not been collected from the UK. I have called Fedex more than 20 times and if the number does not just ring, the line cuts out. When I actually get to speak to someone, they promise to call me back (this has happened 4 TIMES NOW!!!) but never do. They claim that the team on the UK side has not come back to them, which denotes extremely poor business practices and deplorable customer service. My shipment is urgent, had I not begun to query it I would not even know that it hadn't been collected as nobody bothered to contact me regarding the problem. I have twice been promised that the issue has been escalated but nothing has been done. What do I do to get some help here? I am livid beyond words at this point.
Although I have always had great service before, I am immensely frustrated with my current claim. #2262012758. The three weeks for repair that I was told to expect has passed and the car (I had to ask the panel beaters because discovery had no answer) is still sitting waiting for parts. This is in part because discovery took 8 days to authorise the claim and then another 5 days after that to get the car to the panel beaters. After multiple emails I finally sent a complaint to the lady that I had been dealing with and asked her please to escalate it. I sent a follow up email 3 days later as I heard nothing back. I have still had no feedback and am now extremely unhappy. The separate claim for my phone, damaged in the accident is not even listed on my claims tracker on the website so who knows where my phone is (#2616664). Repair was authorised 9 days ago. This service is atrocious. Why no feedback??? Why so much time wasted with the car? Where is my phone? Why am I now being ignored after voicing my unhappiness?
Extremely rude on the phone (Nichole). Insulted my practice manager by insisting to speak to me, the owner of the company, because "you're just the secretary and you can't make decisions on the owner's behalf". She offered to have our details placed in the telephone directory for a sum of R295 per month. I suspect that this is a scam.
I have my medical aid, life insurance and all my short term insurance with Discovery. I recently added another vehicle to my insurance. The new vehicle is worth far more than my original car. I am paying approx R650 for the old car and less than that for the new one. I have contacted discovery four times to enquire as to whether I can have the premium for the original car reduced. I have an estimate from another company of R385 per month for the car. Each time they promise to get back to me and do not do so. Yesterday I spoke to Nmphondo who said it would be escalated to a manager and she would contact me shortly. She did not do so. This is unacceptably poor service.

I had THREE different plumbers come to my house to fix a burst pipe issue. The first two made more chaos than they helped. The Flinkdink guys were AMAZING, very professional, polite. The original plumbers wanted to pull my whole ceiling apart (and broke it by stepping on it), whereas the Flinkdink guys simply bypassed the pipe in about 20 minutes without damaging anything. The first plumbers also left my geyser turned off and the FD guys spotted that and turned it on. THANK YOU for the rapid and professional service.
<p>Wonderboom Junction shop. I recently bought a new phone with my upgrade. Asked for the best screen protector. Cost quite a lot but ok. 3 weeks later the cover has spider cracks all over it. Phone has not been dropped - can only be from rubbing against other things in my pocket. Went to store. Before I finished explaining the lady cut me off "we don't replace those. You broke it". I replied that I understand and don't expect a refund but just want to inform them of the problem and want to purchase another brand of protector that is strong.</p> <p>Get cut off again: "that's all we have. We can't help you". In a tone of voice that basically says get out, you're annoying me.</p> <p>I left and bought a protector at the flea market for 1/3 the price of MTN. </p> <p>Ps the Kolonnade store has great staff but Junction is horrible.</p> <p> </p>
