I bought some basins from Plumb-it Online over a year ago. One of these basins developed a water stain. I contacted Plumb-it Online and dealt with Mpho Moatshe. Mpho promptly got hold of the manufacturer of the basin and arranged for this to be replaced - at no cost. The service I received from Mpho was amazing - many thanks for your professionalism. I must say that I am also greatly impressed by the ethos of Plumb-it Online and will certainly use them as a preferred supplier in the future.
Scam - placed an order and received no delivery date or confirmation. Tried calling, emailing, WhatsApp message - no response. I know that they received my WhatsApp message yet they still do no reply.
The Courier Guy - Hoedspruit Branch: I would not recommend using this company as they are not reliable. They keep assuring me that they will deliver my parcel by the end ot the day and they never do. This has been going on for 4 days now. Each time I phone I am told something different. Not impressed!
I would like to acknowledge the amazing service that I received from Thabiso Moilwa (Technical Connectivity Support). Thabiso was able to resolve my issue which I had been battling with for a few days. He was technically knowledgeable, patient and nothing was too much trouble. For me the test of a great company/individual l is always how a they deals with a problem. In this case the manager of CTM (Tzaneen) - Werner Shultz was absolutely amazing. I bought a brand of toilet that did not work as effectively as it should of. Werner went out of his way to sort this out with daily communication as to the status of the replacement process. In less that a week a new toilet was delivered. What could have been a protracted difficult process was turned into an outcome that was most pleasant. To Werner - thank you for the truly great service.
I really thought that Afrihost was a company that cared and delivered a great service. It seems that this is not so! Since I signed up with Afrihost I have only experienced approximately 5 - 10 % connectivity. For some 6 weeks now I have been contacting Afihost regarding this dire situation but as I write today I still have the same crisis. Where I live I am one of a number of Afrihost users that experience the same problem - we are all fed up with the ongoing problem that never gets resolved. How is one supposed to run one's business, financial and other affairs on this basis? Every month Afrihost deduct their fee and I am told when I request a refund that my data allocation that is not utilized will be rolled over. But what is the use of this if you cannot connect to the Internet - how does one utilize one's data? Further to this, as I understand it, the data is only rolled over for a period of 2 months so inevitably given my situation the rolled over data will ultimately be forfeited. In my numerous ongoing attempts to resolve the problem I have also attempted to contact management as it is my sense that the problem can only be addressed at this level - but I have not had any success with this either. I emailed the service manager Damon Ross some time back - still no reply. I then attempted to contact his manager - received a call from this manager's representative Ktabo and another call from a person called Kwazi who assured me that they would come back to me on the outcome of my request - still waiting for a call! As I see it, if you are a small guy you do not matter!
I bought a Grundig oven from Hirsch's recently and since the day I received it, it has been a problem. The first fault that I logged took Defy some 10 days to come back to me. The Defy technician that contacted me told me that he had no knowledge of Grundig ovens so he could not give me specific advice. With regard to the second fault that I logged (the oven switches off after 20 minutes) I have had no response whatsoever even though Hirsch's who I bought the oven from have made numerous follows up on my behalf. This is a brand new oven and one would think that Defy would make some attempt to uphold the warranty. My advice is stay away from any appliances that Defy markets and sells.
I would like to commend Afrihost for providing the most amazing service. On the many occasions that I have contacted them regarding a problem I have always received prompt and informed assistance. In this regard I would like to especially commend Harold from the Technical Division who went out of his way to see to it that my problem was solved. Over the days that it took get a fault report from MTN he consistently followed up. To Harold thank you so much - what a truly great experience!
Need to commend Raymond Magadagela from Builders Warehouse Northriding who works in the Electrical Department for amazing service in putting together a complex order. Whatever Raymond said he would do he did and on time. Found him to be helpful and super efficient - wonderful experience!
Placed an order for light switches with Rachel from Lesco Manufacturing - appreciate and commend her for all the assistance she gave me in putting together my order - great service. Received my order on time - really impressed. Further to this is that it is a locally produced product that is well designed. Michael G
