I went there today and when I asked for my pensioners discount was told that they don't do it only pnp hypermarket do it. That is a complete lie as Westville and other pnp supermarkets all do it. Their vegetables are pathetic and I will never ever go there again. They don't deserve to be able to call themselves a pick and pay. Surely they must comply with other pick and pay supermarkets. What does head office have to say.
I wrote long review warning consumers of sharp practice and it has just disappeared. Not doing it again.
Just because it is a drizzly day the signal has been off the whole day. On the one day when you would like to watch you can't. Not as if there is a violent electrical storm. Probably only repeats and adverts to watch anyway. Dstv is not worth the money you pay for it. Suggest to others they find an alternative. We certainly will.
Ordered takeaway mutton roti which was tough and undercooked. Also prawn and chicken breyani which was 3 overcooked prawn and 3 pieces of dry chicken on a pile of rice with no flavour. Abysmal.
Shame on Franke for making their retailers charge R150 for a new washer on a pushdown sink plug. I found one which fitted perfectly without any adjustment at all at the China family store in Westville for R6. What a ripoff by Franke.
I wanted a new washer for my Franke sink plunger. Was told it would cost R150 and a whole new unit about R180. Builders Warehouse sells new unit for R45 and The Family China shop in Westville sells a washer that fits perfectly for R6. No leakage at all. What a ******* from On Tap.
I did an upgrade with mtn in Feb 2003. In April they increased the price by R19. Now they have ****** 20 of my free minutes which I have paid for and after weeks of emails they now inform me that my 'free' minutes are capped at 50 mins per 2 months so they just take them away even though I have paid for them and it is up to me when I choose to use them Non of this was explained to me when I took out the contacts. I consider this to be sharp practice on the part of Mtn.
I took a sodastream empty cylinder for a refund of my deposit. They refused to refund it claiming their system couldn't deal with that. I have been buying full cylinders from them for years. I have also previously been paid R50 deposit for an empty smaller cylinder. I contacted sodastream who say refundable at nearest store on website but am still waiting after weeks tp hear from them. So don't be fooled into paying a deposit that you will never get back. It is just sharp practice and a money making business. I even contacted the owner of the outlet Village Market. Westville and have never heard another word.
