I bought from Evetech 3 times now and device failure rate is 4. I bought a PC upgrade kit. Motherboard was dead on arrival. It took 2 weeks and lots of frustrations to resolve. Power supply failed about a month later, replace in 2 weeks. The replacement power supply failed again about 3 months later. Yesterday I bought a new VERY expensive laptop only to again have a dead-on arrival laptop - Let's how long this will take!! Evetech is cheap, but I think their after sales if horrific and I also think their Quality checks is non-existent. Personally, will never buy from them again.
Great friendly people who went out of their way to make the deal as easy as possible.
So, I have been with King Price Insurance for many many years. Some time back I tried Discovery Insure, but that didn't even last a year, so I went back to King Price. In the 15-odd years I have been with them I had 7 claims, and every single one of them was handled with the best customer service and efficiency I have ever experienced. King Price is not just the best Insurer in RSA, they are probably also one of (if not) the best organisations to deal with! Keep it up, guys and girls!!
I am done with the brand due to the experiences I've had. I lost complete trust in Isuzu as a brand and my comment on the Customer Services page was merely a courtesy to inform you why I wouldn't support the brand again. That being said, Let me list me concerns. Broken Rear light. - Fixed This was picked up when I took delivery. The dealership said they would replace as soon as the part is in stock. A few months later I haven't heard anything and drove to the dealership. They then got a new rear light form somewhere, I was told they took it from another car, and replace the light while I waited. Why did they not call me back and what about the other person who they took the light from? It did raise some concerns? Windscreen. - Fixed In the first few months after I took delivery, the front windscreen started to flake and form little bubbles. I informed the dealership and they said they'll get back to me. I waited a few weeks and nothing happened, so I called them again with some threats about the client services. The following day a contractor came to my workplace and removed some smash and grab from the front windscreen that resolved the issue. Why did they say, I'll get back to you and didn't? Why did they only react when I threatened? Rear door switch 3 years outstanding The switch on the rear door was missing when I took delivery of the car. That is the little switch that turn the light inside on and off. The dealer said they will order the part and replace. I am still waiting. Why do they not get back when they say they will? Radio Cover 3 years outstanding the Infotainment system has a plastic cover around it. This front cover keeps on falling off. When I took the car for a test drive pre-delivery, I pointed this out. The cover was then stuck on with superglue. I only found this out after it fell off again post-delivery. What is also a problem is that this "repair" also causes the cubby hole above the unit not to function properly. Why would you repair something with superglue which is clearly not the right way. And why break something else when repairing something. Window Winder switches. 3 months outstanding The car went in for a service toward the end of November beginning of December. I informed the dealership that these switches get stuck, specifically the driver's side. Again, I received the car back with a promise that I will receive a call when they ordered the part. It is now end of January and I am still Waiting. Again, why do they make promises and never follow through? Sump Cover. - Fixed Often times while I was driving along, a rattle noise came from underneath the engine bay. Something was loose. It only happened on really bumpy roads or gravel roads. In October I was in Kruger for a holiday where we experienced this quite badly. I went to the Co-op in Komati Poort who showed me the sump protector plate is loose, and said I should get to a dealership to fix. The car was almost due for service so I left it for then. When I informed them at the service they said They have to take it off to drain the oil, which means that they didn't install it properly on the 30 000km service. Again, a quality issue. Battery - 3 months outstanding 4 times I was stuck with a flat battery for no apparent reason. AA came to assist on both occasions only to inform me on the latest incident that the battery is failing and I need to replace that. How does a battery nr 1. fail after only 3 years. I've had many cars and never had such an issue, and nr 2. Why is this not a warrantee item? Anyway. The car was in for a service In December, the battery failed in January. Whay was this not picked up and replaced? Trade In - Concerning While the car was in for a service a sales man approached me for a trade in. I reckoned, perhaps my car is maybe a problem car and I am in the market for a Double Cab, so I said go ahead and see what you can do. Filled out all the paperwork and bank approvals. They started with the deal and promptly told me to take the car to Webuycars to get the best price. SO.... Warning light flashed here, why would Isuzu themselves not give the best trade in price! Anyway, the deal didn't happen thankfully but still if Isuzu cannot even do a proper trade in on their own brand.... I don't think I want to own it either. As you can see, I've had many many issues with this car and the after sales service from the brand and do not feel comfortable with the brand considering the issues. I was a first time Isuzu buyer, and I as said LOVE the actual car, but the issues and lack of client service just outweigh the joy.
After having numerous issues with my previous medical aid with whom I had a 15 year relationship, I with great reluctance shifted to Bestmed this year. I am in awe of how great their service is. They really make their members feel special and appreciated. Only thing I regret was to not be a member sooner! Well done Bestmed! You have a client for life!!
I would strongly discourage anyone to have dealings with Momentum. I'm trying to cancel a policy, besides the endeavor is been ongoing for the last 4 years, I finally managed to get them to cancel it and pay out the policy. The problem is however that 1st of al they have an online form to complete for the cancellation and payout. Which I did, only to be told no, they don't accept the form in electronic format, It has to be signed by hand. Why put the online option in the first place!! So the 3rd time I sent the form back it was seemingly accepted. In the form there is an accelerator option to have the payout in 24 hours. It is now 7 days later, no payout, no comms from them nothing. Momentum is by a long shot the worst company to deal with.
Best Service ever. I tried another insurer for about a year but moved back to KP.

Bought a brand new car a year ago. The car had gearbox issues since new. I complained and was told it's normal.

I just had the car back from th dealership, and their solution to the gearbox issue is to "pump the clutch" or select 3rd, 5th and then reverse or 1st.

I then asked to replace the car, when Ford themselves offer me R 20 000 below the book price on this car. They have so little faith in their product they not even willing to buy it back at full trade value.

Pathetic pathetic service. I will NEVER buy a Ford again.
