I dealt with Charl T, one of the owners of ULTEK Computers in Port Shepstone. I paid by EFT. After several days of excuses for not sending out the graphics card I paid for, he stopped responding to messages. I tried calling & emailing to no avail. I have since learned of other people who have paid for goods & not received them = a pattern of behaviour.

Charl kept making excuses about not sending out the card & then stopped responding to messages. I tried calling & emailing but no luck. I have since learned that he has de*****ed other people. I will be creating a police case. This guy belongs behind bars!
I ordered a chair base for my broken office chair. I did not receive any communication as to when it's going to be delivered. My emails went unanswered & they never picked up the phone. After 3 weeks of nothing, I ended up ordering one elsewhere. I did think that Office Stock could be a **** & I couldn't wait hoping the base would arrive one day. The company I did order from delivered the next day. I cancelled my order with Office Stock via email & they actually rep**** saying it was going to be sent out. The fact that I asked them to cancel my ordered didn't bother them, nor the fact I emailed them again to re-iterate I wanted to cancel my order. The item was collected by the courier about 3 days after I asked them to cancel the order & they could have cancelled it if they wanted. I ended up refusing delivery & Office Stock haven't refunded me. My emails about a refund went answered as did my phone calls. The owner, months later, emailed me with a sob story & asked me to remove my Google review. He offered to give me a replacement (why?) or a refund. I asked for a refund & sent him my bank detail but I haven't received anything weeks later. He since changed his reply to my review saying that it was delivered, which it wasn't, & is now at the courier's depot, which I told him. I have tried to get a refund via my credit card company but Office Stock have told them I have the item, which I don't & now they're saying they didn't debit my account which is blatantly untrue.
I signed up to Showmax Pro as I read online that they are showing the Rugby World Cup. It turns out that are not. After I logged in for the first time & I realised I had been given incorrect information I contacted Showmax to cancel & refund. I read told that there are no refunds & was anything else that could help me with. Thanks for nothing.
I signed up for ShowMax Pro as websites were saying they're showing the rugby world cup. Now I've signed up, I see they're not & I chatted on the same day I signed to cancel & refund but they apparently don't do refunds.
I had to take out insurance with Absa as part of my bond agreement. As part of the terms, you're not allowed to leave your property for more than 24 hours otherwise you face a hefty excess should there be a theft or damage in your absence. Obviously this is ridiculous & other company don't have this. Our electric fence got taken out by a fire as some of the wooden poles got burned. I tried to get this sorted out but my emails/calls went unanswered. When I finally got to speak to someone, weeks later, I was told that my electric fence was classes as a wooden fence because it had wooden poles. The strands of an electric fence do no stand up by themselves & to claim this is ridiculous. I got someone to do the fence but shortly before they could make the repairs my house was hit hard by thieves who stolen whatever they could take. I was left with a R10 000 excess plus I had to pay for security guards. I have lodged a complaint but the only response I've was a reference number. I have followed up but have had no response.
I needed a PVC window replacing in a blind replacing, another blind refitting properly & new end caps, & dealt with Meryl Bagawandin. The PVC window replacement isn't straight, they didn’t put the fixed blind back properly, wrote on it with what looks like permanent marker pen and they messed the other blind. Now I can’t close the zip on one side & the stitching has now come away! They also didn't provided there new end caps. Initially said they rectify things & would get back to me with a date but never did. I've had no replies to my WhatApps. Only one of my calls was picked up. She said they would sort the blinds on Monday but didn't turn up. They basically just took my money & ran. Now I'm left with paying someone else to sort out their mess.
I pay extra for Premium Banking. Apparently I have access to a personal banker & 24/7 dedicated Premium Lines. I can't get hold of my personal banker & I tried 5 times to call the 24/7 line & each time I get disconnected. What's the point?
Ordered a gift set to be delivered 2 days before Mother's Day. It hasn't been delivered even though people have been home due to the lockdown. The website doesn't give much information, the mobile version gives even less. I tried the live chat but I was asked to leave a message. I've had no response.
I received daily emails from Makro encouraging me to buy essential items for delivery in 2-5 days & eventually I did place an order on 15th April. The order status remained as "order confirmed" for 2 weeks & as it stands has been at the "order packed" stage for over a week. The next stage is handing it to a courier for delivery. A lot of the items were also cancelled due to lack of stock even though the items were in stock when I ordered them weeks earlier. The items I ordered were essential food & drink. Since Makro hasn't delivered I've had to source almost all the items elsewhere as obviously my family needs to eat! People can't wait weeks months for essential food items to be delivered. Makro sent daily emails advertising 2-5 days delivery when they must have known full well they couldn't do it. This is false advertising. I've seen so many complaints on their Facebook page from people in the same situation as me. On their R50 delivery special post, amongst the complaint comments, other people were asking how long delivery would take. Makro responded to them saying 2 - 5 days & they didn't respond to the countless comments from people how had been waiting weeks for delivery. I wish I'd seen the comments first as I would never have placed my order. I don't think I'll be buying from Makro again.
