I would like to applaud Kirstin's customer service at the Capitec Bank Pavilion branch. She was polite and empathetic towards my situation, which was a very frustrating one to say the least. She went over and above her duty and kept to her promise by keeping me updated on the resolution of my request. Kirstin, I wish you all the best in your career and hope that the 'higher ups' see what an asset they have at Capitec Bank. Thank you for everything and merry Christmas to you and yours.

My wife and I bought a bed from The Mattress King Springfield, towards the end of 2022. In February 2023 we complained about the mattress sagging on all 4 sides. An assessment was done in February 2022. Keshnee then communicated with us and then went on leave with no Out-Of-Office response and that was the last we heard from her. Then throughout 2023 it was back and forth with Vani who took over our case. Finally at the beginning of December 2023, Vani calls my wife and tells her that they will be replacing the defective mattress the next Monday. After a couple more enquiries, it seems as Vani has also did a vanishing act on us. Once again we're stuck in the DARK, sleeping on a defective mattress. I would NOT recommend The Mattress King to anyone looking to buy a bed. Their after sales service is worse than Eskom's ability to generate power.
I received AWESOME Service from Satisha Ramlal from Old Mutual Insure. She understood my query and assisted me with a smile over the phone. Her professionalism and ability to hear a person out and really go all out is amazing! Thank you Satisha. I hope out paths meet again! 10 GOLD STARS!

Last week I ordered a pizza for dinner at 18:05pm from Debonairs in Musgrave shopping centre. An hour later no pizza. I called the call centre at 19:10 querying how far is my order. I was told that the shop only has two delivery drivers. So I asked why are they accepting online orders for delivery if that's the case? I was told they will call the store and get back to me. 20mins after that I get a call saying they apologise and the pizza has left the store on on its way to me now(19:35pm). At 20:06 I call them again and they said they will ask the store manager what's going on. I then asked them to give me the delivery guy's direct number but they refused. They called the store then called me back after 10 mins saying they were not sure but its left the store. FINALLY my pizza is delivered to me at 21:40pm . Over 2 and a half hours and COLD!!! I called the call centre again telling them that I want a refund. There was no "HOT DOT" on the box. It was actually peeled off. There was clearly a spot on top of the box where one could see a sticker was peeled off! I told the call centre agent about this and I was told they no longer have the "Hot Dot" promise that's why it weren't there. The call centre agent then told me she will get the store manager to call me. It is now the 4th day and still no call from the manager. I had to microwave the pizza and the texture was like rubber and chewy. I threw it out! I will NEVER EVER order from that store again! I love pizza but Debonairs Musgrave....You suck!
My wife and I are applying for a home loan and got negative feedback because of Telkom. They have listed on Experian credit bureau that I am in arrears since 2017 without any notification of this. I closed this landline account in 2017 after moving house and was not told about any outstanding fees. Only to find out 3 years later that I am owing them R158.73. I then called their billing dept. and was told they can't help me with a paid up letter after I paid the acc immediately. I spoke to a very unhelpful billing consultant by the name of Benedictor Nonhle Mzobe who told me that she can't put me through to accounts and I can't speak to a manager. Telkom is pathetic. Their customer service is pathetic. If you buy their products just be ready to get no help. I write this review today to say thank you to Telkom for making my wife and I lose our dream home! Its because of your lack of communication and lack of customer care that we have lost out on our home.
<p>I moved house on the 2nd of March and advised Telkom sales department that I need my landline moved. They told me that they will send a tech out on the 15th. Fair enough (I understand these guys have a huge workload). The tech left and left a fault request with the "cabling dept" saying that there is a fault underground/with the exchange or something to that effect. I kept calling and all I got was it's still with the cabling dept and they cannot give me a turn around time. "They can't say"</p> <p> </p> <p>My sad story (because everyone has one)....</p> <p>I've told Telkom sales that this is a matter of urgency as I am a 2nd year distance learning college student and having no internet is causing me to fall behind. I have no car so getting to and from an internet cafe is a no go. I've even went as far as posting my complaint on Facebook on Sunday and I was asked to inbox my details, which I did. But I still have not received any feedback!!?</p> <p> </p> <p>I am in distress because researching on my smart phone isn't working out for me. I NEED URGENT HELP PLEASE!!! </p>
