MWeb very slow
I had cable put in via MWeb. Not a bad signal although it slows down so much at times we can't stream movies and have to switch off. I do log queries, sometimes they followup, sometimes they don't. I have been with 3 other service providers over the years, none are that good but MWeb is a little better than most.

Takealot best ever
We live in a small seaside village with very limited shopping options. Takealot has made the difference between driving an hour to nearest mall and collecting the product delivered to our front gate by a friendly driver who knows us by first names. The variety of products and especially the discounted prices, helps us with everything from gas geysers, solar lights, camping items and products for our vehicles. Highly recommended - fast delivery. DIY Stilbaai East
This business opened a few months ago in Stilbaai East industrial area. They are the most helpful people. Good advice, excellent prices. If they don't have an item they make time to order it for you or give you contact details of a person who offers the service you need. The variety of stock is expanding monthly. Worth a visit.

Telkom put phone down
My routers after really bad winds in Western Cape, kept on dropping their signals. Would only stay on for about 3 minutes, off for five on again for ten. Because both my routers are doing the same I know it's not the hardware. Maybe the tower is damaged. I phoned Telkom and after 44 minutes resetting etc as the lady on customer service told me, she had me on hold several times, I stayed kind and patient, then suddenly she put the phone down in my ear and the problem is not solved. It's not a cheap service and up to now very little issues. Now I'm paying for a connection I cannot receive and I pay for Netflix which I cannot access either as a result. So unprofessional.

Palinggat Oord
This secure resort lies close to pristine beaches, variety of coffee shops and a small shopping centre. This is a neat and safe resort with gardens, families of Pheasants walking around and baby buck. It has squash courts, tennis court and a swimming pool. There are a variety of activities in the communal hall including a JosGen Service on a Sunday morning. Most of the chalets and cottages are privately owned but many are made available for holiday accommodation contact the office for more information. You are within walking distance to the historical site where you can feed eels or walk to the Goukou river, to swim, boat or fish. Licences are available at municipality. If you have time it's worth a visit to Kasselshoop for a variety of mouthwatering cheeses, and I'm told the best pizzas or join a tour through Inverroche gin distillery.
