On the 12th July 2024, I received a call from an FNB private client consultant. he was selling a product called FNB fusion account for private clients. He explained all the benefits, which I was happy with. I asked him several times if there are any costs involved and he said "Zero". To my surprise, I get deductions of monthly fees from FNB which normally comes out at the end of the month. He purposefully/deliberately hid this info from me knowing that I will not agree to have exorbitant prorata costs against my account in the middle of the month. I laid a complaint with FNB, and I am told that they will request for the reversal but they do not guarantee that all costs will be reversed. I do believe that the recording is available for that call.
Shell Kroonstad. There was a very long queue for filling up fuel. Only to find out that some of the customers have parked to buy stuff from the shop, some to the bathrooms and some had taken their dogs for walks. One of the petrol attendants was washing all the windows of the customer's suv, including mirrors. I laid a complaint to the supervisor, Johannes, he bluntly told me that he doesn't see anything wrong with that, that I can also park next to the petrol tank if I wish to.
It was such a bliss shopping at takealot this past black Friday. No system clinches, just smooth sailing. Much appreciated for the effort put in to improve the system.
Since a friend of mine introduced me to this App about 7 years ago, there has never been a dull moment in my shopping; convenient, good quality products, never ending discounts, and timeous deliveries.
I joined Bestmed in the early 2000's and have stayed with the medical aid all the years due to the good service, good medical benefits and their continued improving user-friendly web services. For some reason, this year, most of the benefits have mysteriously been depleted. And this year, we have been less sickly compared to the past few years (with Covid-19 and everything). Benefits like, prescription medication, dentistry and speech therapy have already been depleted, which has never happened. I am not sure which other benefits have depleted.I pay over R14000 per month to Bestmed. I would like the Bestmed team to investigate this matter urgently. Regards Nthabiseng Siyengo

I applied for a Cellc contract phone online in December. The advert indicated that the phone comes with a R3000 sumsung voucher. I got a call from one of the cell reps who processed myapplication. I asked about the voucher and they did explain that I will get a voucherletter with the delivery. The delivery was done today, there in no voucher letter in the package, plus, they delivered the wrong colour. I called the Cellc customer service, the lady whom I talked to indicated that they can only assist with the colour swop, but thy cannot assist with the voucher as it is not part of the contract, and that the promotion ended in november. She mentioned that if I have a query I will have to raise a complaint. I am not in a mood to constantly run after people who are providing a bad service my selling lies. Ijust wnt to end this contract before it can even start.
I received a call from a gentleman whom I can't recall the name. He told me that he is calling from Absa vehicle finance. This was 13:41 on Thursday 04 February 2021. The number that was used to call me was 011 354 4000. I previously received a call from 011 220 2603 where I had also refused to give out my personal information as well. He asked me to confirm my name and surname, which I did. He then asked me to confirm my date of birth, which I refused, feeling that it is too much info to confirm over the phone. He the stated to be very rude, telling me that it is not private info, that he is not asking for my ID number. It then went on to be a very unpleasant argument between myself and him, until he threatened that he is going to send someone to my house since he knows my address. I did not like this even a little bit. Do we give our personal info to Absa to threaten us in this way? Does that mean them having our info can enable them to threaten us in this way? I am very furious and would like Absa to correct this behaviour, especially with this particular individual. I believe that Absa does have the recordings, and would be able to listen to this conversation themselves.
We visited the Elephant Sanctuary in Hazyview Mpumalana on the 18 December 2020. We also paid an etra R160 for the video, which was promised to be emailed to us by the the 20th December. We have not received the video up to this far, we have also sent emails and called them several times, and they still promised to send them. I even requested a refund but they insisted that they will send a video instead. Kindly intervene as I have not succeeded. Regards Nthabiseng Siyengo
