One of the products (a 1 KG tub of yoghurt) arrived with the seal broken. I'm not going to eat it and I dont know how to reporrt to Checkers.
Is there a way to submit a review without giving a star rating? Got emails that my package had been delivered and that I had signed for it. Then finally got through to the office and they contacted the driver. In a while eh pulls up and reckons he delivered it to the wrong address. How I signed for it at the wrong address is a mystery. Anyway, guy reeked of alcohol and also didnt sound like everything was ticking away smoothly.
Havent learnt my lesson. Once again placed an online order at Makro. Ordered a coffee maker, some breakfast goods and some olive oil. First off they cancel the coffee maker as it is unavailable. Then some of the breakfast items. Order placed on 13 December and at the moment noone can tell me where the remaining items are. Advised to stay home just in case they do arrive. Order status is "Packed Delivery by Tuesday Dec 17". And by the way, the cancelled items are still available to order on Makro online shopping site. And noone knows how I can get a refund either.
Scott Spark handed in to Cyclelab on 16/9/2024 and Scott confirmed that cracked rear triangle is covered by warranty. I have a single biscycle which is at Cyclelab waiting for Scott to honour the warranty. Cyclelab has apparently tried numerous times to get an ETA from Scott but without any success. That is not Cyclelab's shortcoming but it is their supplier's shortcoming. In the meantime, I see a big drive to sell Scott bikes and gear currently underway. I suppose it would be naive to expect them to give an outline regarding the waiting periods for warranty issues.
It was almost exactly a month ago that I submitted a previous review for Makro regarding the chaos with the online ordering and delivering of such. So, this time I opted for the store pickup. But someone at Makro had other ideas and converted it to home delivery. And so, of the three items that I ordered, a single one has been delivered. When you query online it says that the other two or packed and waiting for courier pickup. A day ago I have tried speking with someone who is on the Whatsapp help facility. He said he would follow up and get things moving. Still nothing. I'm looking for ideas to get this to work.
Ordered earlier this week. They despatched using The Courier Guy and Pudo to Door facility. Yesterday I got a message that Courier Guy would be delivering on the day. Nothing received as yet and it is 11.00 the day after. But I did get an email at 01.00 this morning to tell me that they have delivered my order to me. Contacted Rookie Sports and they are pretty disinterested as they say they have dispatched. Oh well, you live and you learn.
Placed an online order earlier this week and delivery was prompt the following day. It was incomplete. This has happened before and the trouble to get the items that werent included in the package is just not worth it.
I ordered some items on 24 August 2023. Very promptly delivery on Saturday 26 August 2023. Excpet that on of the products was not what I ordered. Contacted Makro and they phoned back on the Monday to inform that they would be in touch to rectify. Not a sign of anyone from Makro until this past Tuesday 5 September 2023 requesting a product review. So, in my review I mentioned that the wrong product was delivered and still waiting for someone to contact me. And this morning I get an email from Makro to inform that my review has been m oderated due to the fact that it does not conform to the website's standard. Haha! Actually quite worth the laugh.
In March I submitted a claim which Discovery only paid a portion of. There was a R6500-00 portion that I had to pay. But, Discovery issued a statement that they had paid in full. So, my GAP cover (Stratum) cant follow the email trail with Discovery apologizing for the error and I am 6500-00 out of pocket. Both of these organizations are very *********** and I can only hope that the NHI will become a reality. Whatever the problems that come with it, will still be better than the nonsense from these big corporations.
I got a statement from Discovery that an acount has been paid in full with no outstanding amount. the hospital says that I owe them money which Discovery has not paid. Someone is not telling the truth but who?
