I received a call from Tsitso , who wanted to offer me a deal on a smartphone. I requested Tsitso to kindly advise where he got my info from, because I did not consent to be called and he greeted my on my name and surname. His reply to me was "Are you just going to argue or are you interested in a smartphone, I did not call you to waste my time". I then explained to Tsitso that I am entitled to this information because my privacy is protected in the Constitution of SA as well as POPIA. The audacity! He then handed me over to his floor manager Stephanie Perumaal. Stephanie could not advise me where Blue Label Data Solutions got my number from. She gave me a cell phone number that rings to voicemail. I still dont know how they ended up with my info. OUR INFORMATION IS STILL BEING SOLD WITHOUT OUR CONSENT OR OUR KNOWLEDGE. I WANT TO BE CONTACTED AND ADVISED WHERE EXACTLY I SAID I WANT A SMARTPHONE!!
The worst billing service ever. Be careful of this company. They claim to change their billing system, which they claim to inform you of, only to result in so many unauthorized deductions from your account. If you dont like unauthorised debits on your account, STAY AWAY FROM THIS
Yesterday (11/04/2018) I received a call from your sales department. The consultant started their pitch and I interrupted the consultant and asked where they got my number. The consultant said the system dials number randomly. I asked how that works and the consultant could not tell me. At this point I got disturbed and asked to speak to a manager. The consultant asked if the manager could call me back and I refused because I know that will never happen. After 6 minutes of holding the sales manager Melissa came on the line. She informed me that you get your leads from data houses, I asked which data houses so that I know who to contact in regards with removing my number and she said she is not allowed to disclose that. This is ironic, you use my private information (cellphone number and my name that I know of) to contact me but you cant disclose where you bought my information from. At this point Melissa suggested that the applicable data house call me back the very same day (11/08/2018).. guess what.. no one phoned me back. I would like to know the following: 1. Where did you get my information from 2. Where did I give permission to be contacted by cell c 3. How did my information end up at the data house 4. Without my permission to call me you are in contravention of the POPI act Kindly respond as soon as possible as I would like to put this matter to rest and deal with people who are selling my information. Melissa (sales manager) gave me this email address ********** if I dont get called. The email did not go through.

So i get calls from the following number ********** 000. Each time the consultant asks me to speak to a certain person. Each time I tell them I dont know the person and to never call me again. This obviously doesnt work. So this afternoon I get yet another call and while I was explaining that I dont know this person and to never call me again the phone gets dropped while I was talking. I called african bank to lay a complaint but they said they dont know the number that called me. Mpho Polori says they dont know who their service providers might be! That is disgraceful! And how did this unnamed service provider from african bank get my number... it took me 5 seconds to search the number on the internet and it turns out its african bank collections centre! Client services told me that they dont know who called me because when they call the number it doesnt exist. If I get one more call i will be laying harassment charges against african bank.
