There is always a long line at cooked food counter with little people helping customers. They run out of meat or rolls most days at the cooked food counter. Stopped there now on Saturday and there's more than 20 people in the line for cooked food so I decided to get a boerewors roll but the staff let me know that there's not enough boerewors to make one for me at 12:30 on a Saturday. Do yourself a favour and rather go to Berliner.
Afrihost only cares about your money and don't care about there clients anymore. There website told me "what you pay today" is R0 what you pay at the end of next month is R927, then they suspend your line a few days after getting it for not paying the pro rata rate which is more than R120 more than it should be with no warning at all this is false advertising, expect to pay more then what they tell you. They have good internet but I would rather not deal with people who don't care about you and only care about your money. If you had another provider in mind rather go with them
Wouldn't buy anything from them again. I bought a chair in the beginning of lockdown. The chair cost about R2800. 9 bought the chair because it had a warranty and very high weight rating. I returned the chair to takealot within the 6 month warranty as it broke very quickly (From no fault of mine). Takelot ended up wrapping the broken chair and sent it back to me saying "Return concluded". I tried calling several times during lockdown but kept getitng automated mesaages saying they are not in the office due to lockdown. A company this big should surely divert some phones at least. I was a big fan of takealot even though most things I want are more expensive than anywhere else. I will never ever buy from takealot again based on this experience and I wouldn't recommend anyone else buy from them either. You can get better pricing and service from several online stores.
Can't deliver to my house at dinner time when I have 3 nandos in my area. Maybe they make more money by Mr D and uber eats delivering only, but that means it costs more for us as the client...Nandos used to be so good, standards are the worst all round now.
Ordered from spur randpark tonight on Uber eats. The main reason I ordered from spur tonight was for there chips (love the chip spice) when I got my order, 2 or 3 chips had chip spice on them and the rest were plain. I have asked spur several times why they don't include sachets of salt and stuff in packet like every Resturant and they just say they don't do that. Spurs prices keep going up and service and portion sizes keep going down. My half a portion nachos was hardly a quarter portion, about 4 nacho chips had cheese on and rest didn't and a starter garlic bread (Hotdog roll) cost almost R42. On top of this it was all cold. When I phoned the branch the manager said there's nothing he can do about it. We used to be regulars at spur but not anymore. You can get much better food at the same price at a steak house these days. Other takeaways either rectify the situation or someone phones me and finds out how we can resolve the issue and how we can all come out of it happy. When I phoned spur tonight and told the manager that other take aways do that he just said they don't . Wouldn't recommend spur to anyone
