Bought product online. Said 3 to 5 days delivery. Took my money over R500 and its been 2 months. Still no delivery. No reply to emails. No contact number to call. Disgusting **** artists
I am very upset with takealot and the way my order and return was handled. I bought a R3000,00 chair from takealot 5 months ago. At 5 months, 3 of the legs of the chair all snapped at once. we returned the chair under the 6 month warranty. This return was rejected by takealot, stating it was not a warranty issue. I phoned takealot helpline and spoke to a rep, informing them that it was not wear and tear, but all 3 legs broke at the same time, which is most definitely a factory default. The Rep agreed that this is most definitely a warranty problem and she would get her supervisor to approve the return once they found the chair, which had gotten lost in the returns process. a week later they found the chair and returned it to me with an email stating this was rejected by the supervisor and is not a warranty issue. This is rubbish, as how can all 3 legs break at the same time as a wear and tear issue? Takealot is now just replying to my emails with a copy and paste saying there is nothing they can or will do. This is unacceptable, this chair cost a lot of money, and I bought it knowing it had a warranty, the fact that this warranty is not being upheld is disgusting. I feel like takealot is not upholding their warranty. What is my legal recourse to fix this? Is their a warranty ombudsman i can go to? How do I get this sorted?
I am concerned I will lose my flight I applied for a ticket at 10.18 it is now 14.05 and I still have not had my payment processed through their 'fraud' system. My flight is at midnight tonight and I am worried I won't get on the flight I need this processed immediately and the helpline keeps telling me it's being processed now. It's been 4 hours What's taking so long I need to confirm this flight immediately No one can tell me how long it will take and I am not getting an alternate paying method so I can get this processed immediately At a loss of what to do
<p>We went for a couples massage and what a nightmare. Firstly we arrived at 9.45 for our 10am massage. It was meant to be a one hour massage and then we had to leave by 11.30 . upon arrival we were told we get to have the special which is 20 minutes with coffee and 20 minutes in the steam room as well as a soak in the jacuzzi before our massage. Knowing we only had an hour we turned down the special and requested the massage. Only to find out there is no special they just cannot massage us as only one masseuse showed up for work. <br />So they were just trying to delay telling us they were unorganized. We asked why we were not called prior to our appointment and they said they did not realise the masseuse was not there. They requested we reschedule. Wanting to give them the benefit of the doubt we rescheduled for 2 weeks later and they upgraded us to a 90 minute massage in their special caves. Great .</p> <p>we show up 2 weeks later and arrive half an hour early to be safe. They seem surprised we there and automatically tell us the caves are too cold and we can't be in there. We ask if we can see how cold for ourselves and when we get there we realise they have used the caves as a storage room and that is why we cannot utilise the space. We finally get called through for our massage but there are no candles lit, no sounds or music playing and no gowns for our use. We climb on the bed and the only saving grace of the whole catastrophe was Patricia and crystal, the two masseuses, who tried their very best to relax and massage us. Unfortunately the rest of the staff kept opening the door and coming in and going out 10 times during the whole 90 minutes so the ladies struggled to keep composure. After an hour music suddenly started letting us know what we missed for the first hour. <br />Upon seeing the jacuzzi I am happy to have missed that chance as it was a very dirty bath. I am not impressed at all and will not be returning . I recommend you go somewhere else for your spa experience. <br />Not Patricia and crystals fault, they gave great massages and were very kind</p>
