I was with my 2 Autistic little daughters at westwood Mall today and needed to go into Gorima's spice shop. There was a woman with a child in a trolley and her child's pram leaving the shop. I waited till she moved and tried to go in and the female security guard stopped me and told me that I cannot go into the shop with the trolley due to space. I told her i cannot leave my kids in the trolley and she then looked at the manager for assistance. I told the male manager that his security just asked me to leave my kids in the trolley at the entrance and go do my shopping. He sheepishly repeated what the security had said about space. I said thank you and left. I would like to understand how in this day and age, a mother is expected to leave her children unattended and go about her shopping? And if I took both my kids into the shop without the trolley, how would I hold onto both of them and do my shopping? There was no consideration to any of this or any help offered at all. It was a very disappointing episode for me as i shop at this mall all the time and it was sad that there are people like this who are so unwilling to help. Gorima's at Westwood Mall clearly dont need my business which is fine, but I hope this review helps so that no other mother in my situation is asked to put her children at risk in that store
Ordered a home wifi package on 8th May 2024 and paid the upfront fee. Delivery was an issue as the biometrics system didnt work. After 2 attempts, everything went silent. I contacted 7 different numbers before the last person told me my contract was cancelled. Short story is that since 8th May to current, ive been given the run around by *********** staff. I keep getting told my credit is reflecting on my profile and i need to request a refund..ive done 3 requests so far and still nothing. These call centre agents make notes on their system but do not inform the customer. Been to the store Pinecrest Mall, Pinetown which has also been a complete waste of my time. Each dept passes me on to a different one and each timw the story changes. I need the damn refund so i can go to a more reliable service provider where hopefully their staff is better trained.
Home Loan payment not processed due to *********** staff and new telephonic acceptance procedure thats not working. Joint bond and they need to call us both, asked us to respond on an uneditible email template and required 3 tries from both of us before it was accepted. Told us payment would take 3-5 days. Over 2 weeks later still nothing. Asked us to sign new docs and redo the template where we stipulate a convenient time to call but their agent calls when we were unavailable and then didnt get back to us. All parties involved at Nedbank for this issue have not reverted with any solid feedback, just more excuses and shifting the duty to someone else. This after months of dealing with another *********** dept that incorrectly declared that we were under debt review which negatively affected our rating and we were unable to access our frozen accounts. Its been approx 2months since we first app**** for this additional bond.
Lying bunch of sales consultants! My husband who is a Vodacom user, gets a call telling him he has been 'preselected' for a MTN Mega deal. Speaks to a girl named Varsha who told him the deal is 30gigs for R149 p/m..confirms this with me as well but when her manager or whoever, named Michelle confirms with m,y husband, she says its R298 becasue he qualified or 2 deals. he told her he only agreed to one but they put him down for 2 sims. He tried the online live chat with Varsha who came on and just says ' the above is correct' and went off and has not called back! We called to cancel and some one in teh cancellations dept confirmed that he was put down for a debit of R298 p/m for 2 sims. I hate dodgy call centre thieves like this! Makes me never want to ever give another telesales person the time of day again. We rejected the delivery of the sim cards but were kept on hold when trying to call the cancellations dept.
Since my last post, Lenny from Westend Motors contacted me and on 1st October, my queries with the gear knob and spare key were resolved. They also filled R150 fuel before returning my car.
Bought car in January 2020 from these guys. 1. When i viewed the car, the gear lever was damaged and sales assistant and the sales person told me it would be replaced within the next week. To date, this has not been done. 2. When i went in to sign the papers and pick up the vehicle, an extended warranty/service plan had been added on without me being asked if i wanted it. 3. Within 2 days i noticed the reverse gear was not engaging each and every time. They took the car back and gave it to their mechanic who called me to tell me all i need to do is select 1, then neutral, then try the reverse gear. This did not help. 4. Called for the manager and was put through to his young son who told me to take the vehicle to an AA approved mechanic and the warranty would pay for it. My question was why would i need to use my warranty within a week of buying this vehicle?? They still spun me a bull**** story. 5. When i bought the car, the sales lady told me she had a spare key but it just needed a new casing. I finally received a key in June 2018 which was obvious was not the right key. They told me i would need to get it coded. The key did not turn in the ignition and their employee who dropped off the key called them at the office to tell them this and they insisted it will work once it is coded. Just been to a locksmith who confirmed it is not the correct key and will cost me R2200 to make a brand new key and get it coded. Most frustrating, disappointing and pathetic service ever!
The most useless bunch of people I have ever come across! They never listen to what you ask for, do their own thing and mess it up. 1. I bought my own frames and took it to them and asked them to print a picture to fit the frame and they print a size that didnt fit the frame and tell me they cant fit it unless i bought the frame from them. R90 per copy wasted They did not seem to have proper understanding of what was being asked of them or provide options on other choices of media available. Only told me about the most expensive option which was the photo paper. 2. Called a week ago and asked for their email address so I could send them 2 pictures to print before i got there. I get there 20mins later and then get told their machine is out of order. 3. Called exactly a week later and they tell me it is fixed, so i resend my email with the two pics at 1:37pm. Get there at 2:29pm and they hadn't printed. Then the lady lightens the picture before printing so it came out a lot lighter than it should have. She admitted to lightening the pictures because it looked darker tells the guy who was serving me that he should reprint it as is, but her manager and another staff member insist that it cannot be reprinted because the picture on the screen just looks darker. The absolute last time I will ever use their pathetic services again!
<p>This firm was appointed by the bank to handle the bond registration for me when i purchased my first house. The individual handling this did not follow up with the banks and today when the house should be on my name already, she tells me that the bank has rejected a copy of my ID. To add to this, i have now been informed the reg will only happen in December so i now need to pay rent for the place i should have owned by now!</p> <p>I am beyond annoyed right. All i got was excuses and no solution.</p>
