Thank you African Bank and consultant Susan from the Tzaneen branch, you managed to mess up my credit score due to your incompetence. If i knew then, what i know now, i would NEVER have applied for a loan with this bank. They dont know what they are doing, and their staff is worse.

If you want good service, and a healthy credit score, stay away from African bank.

I am so upset. but rest assure i will never make use of them again.

I am so upset with African Bank for wasting my time. I will never recomend any one to make use of their service. They are pathetic and incompetent. I applied for a loan, which they approved for 3 different amounts. All my papers was submitted, at the Tzaneen branch in Tzaneng mall. The consultant confirmed via email from head office that everything was approved and in order. They even send me an sms to congratulate me. Today however is a different story. Now they tell me, that they can only approve a smaller amount, one which by the way i spend with my extra pay. and dont need.

Why waste all this time, when they have no clue what they are doing.? now my credit score is also affected by this. Really, get better training and do just appoint staff because you have to. I hope no one ever make use of them again.

I recently tried to open a savings account at two banks. First capitec and then fnb. Neither could open the account for me, long stories from proof of residence to a yawing front desk agent. So i went to ABSA. Sorry to say but they were my last choice, as i never liked the idea of banking with them. Oh man, i changed my mind. They are fantastic. I went to the Tzaneen branch, and it was not even 15 min, and my account was open and sorted, even internet banking. They called back in the following two days, to find out if i managed to get an account. No really, i will recomend them to every one i know. Great service ABSA. nice one on putting the shame on other banks. I am one satisfied customer. Thank you! keep it up.

I just found out from FNB where is tried opening a bank account, that apparantly i am listed for fraud on my id. This was a surprise as i dont know how this have happened? I tried calling the number ********** 000. and iapoke to a very arrogant and rude lady. Not helpfull at all. She explaint that a compay listed me for a fraudulant document. I wanted to find out how i can rectify this situation, and asked that if she or some one from MIE can give me a letter, just so i can open a bank account. Her answer was just NO we dont give letters. What tipe of assistance is this? I want to open a bank account?? not build a bomb.

Now i have to wait 3year for this bs to be taken off my name? how is this possible, that anyone can just list you.?

They should investigate with the innocent party first. Now iam stuck.

Really, they call this professional? No wonder the country is going down the drain.

I tried to open a savings account with Fnb. I went to the Oasis mall, since they are not that busy. Only to find they have no cards to issue. That was my first frustration. The i went to the main branch. There i was assisted by Rebecca or i think thats her name. Very unhelpfull, rude and did not want to help me. After the whole song and dance, she opened the account only in the end to tell me that there is some block on my name. What that is i dont know. Now i did not get my card. Yesterday a lady from Fnb call, to tell me to upload the app on my phone to access phone banking, Why? you did not give an account? What is happening with Fnb? they used to be good. I will rather go to Absa. really, this is pathetic.

I decided to apply for the DSTV priclock package of R539 per month. This after the application i received it, and its on now for 2weeks. I was happy until i saw my debit order go off yesterday. They deducted R656. For what? My entire subscription is less than that. And for two weeks? What will happen on a full month? This is very disappointing. Its my first time getting DSTV and this is what happens. I was thinking of getting the full package, but now i just feel like this was a mistake. No wonder they insist on a debit order. Not to make payment easier for the client, but to take just what they want. DSTV price lock, no stress? Think again. Change your logo to : price lock, we take more for less.

I saw the details of Capital Credit Union Ltd on a facebook page. Where i decided to apply for a loan with them. I send in my application, and they told me that i have been approved. Very happy i ask what the monthly instalment will be. They informed me of it. I was asked to deposit R1660 into a bank account that was strange, as it was not one of the persons names on the application form ( DR BYRON KHUMALO AND CHRIS WATT) So i asked them why do i have to pay to get this loan? the answer was, that it was for insurance, because they are also taking a risk. Which i understand. So asked again, will this be the only money i need to pay to get this loan. They replied 'yes'. So i made the deposit. ONLY to be told to make another deposit of R2550 to get the loan. I was furious. After an argument with them via telephone, the agreed to refund me with in 7-14 work days. Till now, i have not received anything back. I hope no one will make this mistake that i have. Never trust comapies like this. They only take your money. Stay away from Capital Credit Union.
