Placed an order on the 17th of November 2025, according to information on their website, same states that delivery takes between 2-7 working days. I have been having issues accessing the website since the order was placed as it says, " I should try again accessing later". The last email received from them was on the day the order was placed, to date I don't know when the order will be delivered. This has been the worst online experience I've ever had. I've sent emails to them enquiring about the status of my order, received no response from their side, coming onto Hello Peter and receiving a shock of my life, this is how Polo operates and conducts their business. They are just a business that doesn't care about their customers at all. I'm so dissapointed
Bought a six pack at pick 'n Pay for my daughter this weekend, and I should say it smells very bad, she couldn't even finish one bottle. It really smells bad.
I bought items online during the 3 for 2 promotion. I wanted to exchange one item and read the document which came with the order, it stated clearly that i should take tgat said document and the initial invoice emailed to me which i did, to my horrow I was told I if exchange (same item) I will have to pay. I would understand if i was told to bring all the items in order for tgem to assist with an exchange not that the rules arent the same when you buy online. In store yes you can just exchange however when you bought online we you pay the difference. Why do you havean onl8ne store when it's just a tideous process just to exchabge i would understand if i was asking for a regund, i just wanted a bigger size. I was told by two Avbob employees that I was eligable for a refund from Avbob because I made payment on a policy which had lapsed. The 1st one advised I sent documents to them via email and provided me with everything. The 2nd one advised I go to the branch if itsnot too far, indeed I went there and was assisted by Petric who advised I should receive the money within 5 days a week and a half has passed and I'm still waiting. Can Avbob kindly advise when I can expect that refund
After numerous emails sent and two HP reviews I was told my refund will be paid within 7-14 working days. Guess what I am still waiting The amount due isnt such a huge amount, I now wonder of thats the reason they arent refunding me or of this delay tactic is a method to make aure i get tired and stop asking for my refund
I have lodged so many complaints regarding a refund that was due in August already. I always get automated responses of we have reveivef your query, will look into it and revert howvere to date no response has been received from the service provider This is by far the worst service I have received from Makro
I placed an order in August 2024 and some items were cancelled by the service provider, indicating a refund will be received within 10 working days. To this day I havent received same Sent an email in September which was attended to by Palesa Thunzi her response was that they will investigate and revert till this day I'm still waiting. Dear Makro kindly advise on the status of the regund and when I will get same
On 06.06.24 I placed an order online, part of that order was delivered on 08.06.24. There were missing items I have since notified Makro regarding this matter was told they will revert to date no communication has been received from Makro. I hace since requested on numerous occassions that Makro comes and collects the incomplete order that was delivered and regind me seeing as they are failing to deliver the outstanding items Still my request was ignored by Makro. I now haveno choicebut to escalate the matter, as Makro cannot jsut ignore me for full two weeks when my order is incomplete.
I placed an order with Makro on 6.6.24, I didnt receive an email indicating that any items were cancelled, the only email I received indicated that the order will delivered in two parts. Part 1 being the one I received yesterday, however to my surprise only part of part 1 order was delivered. The invoice howvere states everything was delivered. I called the delivery guy immediately asking of maybe he doesnt have another box - he asked of i check on the box I noticed I have 1 of 2 and 2 of 2 which means he only had two boxes. I called the contact centre this morning spoke to a very nice lady by the name of Sheila-Ann who advised everything of part one has ben delivered, when I'm short of twelve six packs of juice. I ordered 12 Mr orange six packs and only received 2. She advised that she will escalate my query to Wonderboom. Tried calling them my call doesnt go through. Makro please deliver the 10 outstanding packs. I waa expectibg the stethoscope to be delivered later, hence i make no mention of it. I want the outstanding items of the 1st part of my order. The boxes are still as they were, i pit everything back after counting, verifying and noticing the items are incomplete. If you are unable to deliver the missing items come collect what what delivered and refund me my money.
How I love supporting Local business but this has to be the worst service I have ever received. I honestly wish I had read the reviews before ordering from this company. I placed an order for my daughter's teacher appreciation gifts. I had to constantly keep asking for the approval to be sent, only for it all to be incorrect. After they spinned me a story of load shedding and how it has affected their day to day operations. Mind you before placing the order I enquired if they will be able to deliver on time, was assured that as long as payment is made they will be able to deliver. I didn't waste anytime and made the payment for them to start working on my order, which had to be delivered before 01.12.23 .When you call same is answered by someone , you ask for the person you liaise with via emails, you are told the message will be relayed and that they can confirm that all information sent by you (the customer) has been received, to my surprise when they failed to deliver , they blamed me, the very same person who kept on calling , asking if my address had been changed, since they failed to deliver on time, so they had to now deliver straight to the school. Best believe they delivered to my workplace after I was assured the address had been amended, when I then asked what happened, I was advised they didn't receive the said email I called to enquire they received and the response was YES. They items delivered were not of standard and looked very rushed. It didn't look professional at all, the notebook, they just printed a pic and pasted same, some items weren't delivered. I called to advise and was told they would refund me (store credit) till date I'm still waiting for the code. I would never recommend this company to anyone. They are so unprofessional and refuse to take accountability. To date I'm still waiting for my refund
