I bought a pack of berries from Checkers on the 16th of February, and by the 17th (a day later!!!!), they were already covered in mold. How is this even acceptable from a major grocery chain? The cost of living is skyrocketing, and yet we have to deal with food suppliers being this negligent with quality control? What a complete waste of money! Consumers deserve better.
Freelancer.com is an absolute joke. They don’t care about helping freelancers succeed—they only care about squeezing every last cent out of you. Unless you pay for their overpriced marketing features, your profile barely gets seen. How does that even make sense? I'm here to make money, not constantly pay them just to exist on the platform! They force you to add your card details just to sign up, and then—without any warning—they start debiting your account. No reminders, no chance to cancel in time. And when you do try to cancel? Good luck. They make it near impossible to get out, burying the cancellation process under endless clicks and hoops to jump through. And let’s talk about their "verification" fees. They charge ridiculous amounts for things like ID verification—sometimes more than the actual jobs on the site even pay! So basically, they make money off freelancers, not by helping us get work, but by forcing us into their pay-to-play ****. Freelancer.com is nothing but a cash grab, preying on people who are just trying to earn an honest living. Stay far away unless you enjoy being *******, charged unfairly, and completely ignored unless you pay up.
I cannot emphasize enough how disappointed I am with this company. They have completely destroyed my trust in the vehicle purchasing process. They sold me a modified car and are now dragging their feet on providing a refund, claiming the issue is outside of warranty. They also insist there is no proof of when the car was modified, but let me be clear: I was recovering from a C-section and had no income at the time. How could I have possibly afforded or arranged these modifications? The truth is that they falsified the Platinum Dekra report, knowingly misrepresenting the car’s condition. This behavior is not just *********—it’s downright *****ulent. This experience has left me frustrated, betrayed, and determined to warn others. Do not trust this company. They are **** artists who prioritize profits over integrity. I hope others can avoid going through the nightmare I’ve endured.
I am seriously frustrated with my experience at WEBUYCARS. I purchased a vehicle thinking it was in proper working order, but within a month, it broke down completely and was out for repairs for two months. Despite this, the 6-month warranty kept ticking, which is completely unfair. After the car was returned, it sat for another month while I welcomed my newborn. When I finally started using it again, the engine light came on, and I was told the car had been modified—something I was never informed about at the time of purchase. This is a clear violation of my rights as a consumer. To make things worse, I’m now being charged an insane R62,000 "usage fee" for driving just 5,000 km in a car that has been unreliable and misrepresented. Web africa is the worst !!!! I tried to cancel my contract with them on the 15th of March. They have continued to charge me for the past 3 month eventhough I requested a cancellation ! They asked me to help them find someone to take over the line ans I said I will try, now that's the reason they haven't cancelled my contract and won't refund me ! And then have the audacity to tell me to mind my language. Awful awful people.
The quality and portion size was awful. Having previously worked at hooters I know exactly what those portions need to look like. I ordered a 50 piece boneless wings and even apologized to my friends for ordering so much but when it arrived it looked over the leftovers of the week...the tiniest portion for R350 !!!! What a dissapointing experience. The chicken pieces were the size of a R2 ...when I use to work for the franchise the chicken pieces were big and weighty, I use to struggle carrying a plate by myself ...this was utterly pathetic
This place has possibly the most arrogant and incompetent group of people I have ever come across. I have been renting a property from them for 6 months, I understand contracts are 12 months however, we have to urgently relocate. The contract has no clause regarding early termination or anything regarding cancellation fees. They are withholding my entire deposit and refuse to pay it out, even though I gave a month and 3 weeks' notice. I threatened legal action and their response was hostile and very unprofessional. When we tried to resolve this amicably they never got back to us. I'd have rather lived on the street than struggled with these thieves.
Waiting over an hour and a half just to pick up a card. Ridiculous.
I have had a sk card for over 5 years and used it every time i went to the movies and never once claimed the points and the one day I do try they say I don't have points ? what a waste of time
