It is with absolute disgust that I write this review. I am a Vodacom fibre contract client. My contract expired and I was on a month-to-month plan. I reached out to Vodacom on 09 May 2023 to cancel my contract as the rates are too high and I could barely maintain the rising inflation rates. I also indicated to the consultant that I am in a two person household and do not need a high speed limit. I mentioned that I will be going to Afrihost for is offering a 25Mbps which is perfect for my household. The consultant offered me a 25Mbps contract for one year at a price of R599. I told her this would assist me, as it spares the admin of changing to a new provider. The consultant indicated that she would implement this immediately and mentioned that I may pay pro rata which I agreed to. I asked for proof of the discussion which was sent to me. I have an email new contract confirmation as well as a sms. She also mentioned that the call is recorded. Low and behold I receive my June statement which still reflects all of my previous contract details and amount. I called on 7 June 2023 when I discovered this on NUMEROUS occasions. Each and every consultant was not of ANY help. I was told there was nothing they can do for me. I have a new binding contract, what exactly is it that I am missing!!!! This is the same company that basically begging me to stay and offering me something that I was seeking by Afrihost. I must say this is the worse decision I made. On 7 June I bought about R100 airtime phoning back and forth and then I got fed up. I have my proof. If Vodacom deducts that R799 from my account I WILL REVERSE IT. It is in contradiction with my agreement. The last consultant said I should call the fibre line, I mentioned that I will not as no one was able to help me. Vodacom can call me!!! They told me that Octotell does not offer 25Mbps to old clients only new ones, so I mention get me that recording so that I can go to the Ombudsman with all of my proof. It is absolutely disgusting, making as if I am lying. I asked the last consultant to check with the reference I got, she mentions that she can miraculously see it on the system and will log a dispute. My concern is that my debit is set for the 15th which is next week, so Vodacom will definitely debit R799. I am writing this here to say I will reverse it and cancel my contract. Once Vodacom has competent staff to call me, please do so. Bring all the records of the recording of 09 May 2023 then we can speak. I have a reference number and new contract confirmation.
Good day With GREAT disappointment I write today. On numerous occasions on both the Pick n Pay ASAP as well as the Pick n Pay under Mr D. Pick n Pay Parow can unfortunately keep up amd this is not loadshedding related. This is my third order and by both platforms wait more than 3 hours!!!! This is unacceptable I could have gone into the store!! Sharpen up your game or remove the platform. Checkers60 is MUCH more reliable!!!!
Good day I visit Pep stores on a regular basis (once a week literally). So about two weeks ago I visited Pep Home in Parow Centre, just after I did my shopping. I usually go there first, but I was looking for a round silicone cake mould and just my luck I found one. When I entered the store the shop assistant told me that I must leave my trolley at the front of the store, however at OWN RISK. To my big shock! I mean so a customer is not aloud to enter the store with a trolley (which is understandable) but for me to leave my trolley at own risk is unacceptable. So Pep is basically telling individuals if you do forget to enter the store before you do your shopping you have a risk of your trolley being stolen. Also so what if I have an event or party and make Pep my last stop. I was not relaxed at all during the "short" shop, in fear of my trolley being stolen and did not browse like I usually do. Good day I recently (just about a month ago) bought my husband polaroid wireless earbuds on takealot. To my greatest disappointment. This earphones worked well for about two weeks then started giving major problems. - The battery only lasts for about an hour - It only connects one earphone at a time - The sound is very bad To think I paid so much for this very bad earphones. I will NOT recommend this to anyone, not even worthy of the one star that I gave. Regards Annastashia Jacobs
I am ordered three itema from Doll me up on the 27 June 2019. To date not received it yet. Leaving for vacation 2 August and all I get is weak excuses from Doll me up. They advertise 10-17 working days. That has lapsed so long ago already. POOR SERVICE
I have always been happy with telkom and recommending the service to EVERYONE. But lately I feel greatly disappointed with the no netwoek coverage. Myself and my husband have the exact same issues. We have contract data sim cards and get no coverage on it. I heard about the roaming partners telkom changed. What are we to do!!!! Especially out night owl lapses. Help!!!!!!
