I have been with Capitec for over 8years now, ive had cover with them on and off for the past 5years, and My brother died sunday, i made a claim this morning and the service at the branch i went to was amazing, the lady who helped me was professional and empathetic , she told me that i should receive the funds within the next 24 hours.. fast forward a few hours, i get an sms that tells me that the claim will only be finalized on the 8th, my issue here now is that i was told 24hrs, the funeral is this friday, i called the call centre and was on the call for over 30minutes, but i have no explanation or reasons why theres a delay. how dead does a person need to be for Capitec to pay the claims, whats the point of having a funeral cover if its not going to cover the funeral?, please help, i need to busy my brother

I Took out a hollard funeral plan 2 months ago, and since then my credit score has decreased by 5points, as the account appears unpaid for some reason, even though i have never skipped a payment.. i would like to know from Hollard why is this??..
I cancelled my policy sometime in October.. at the end of october my accout was debited twice!!.. i would like to know why is this.. i had to reverse the debit orders.. which both cost me R35..
<p>I have serveral accounts wit getbucks.. and i settled the first one over a month ago.. and yet this hasnt been updated with credit Bearue.. i have been phoning in and emailing about this.. and i am always been promised its being handled.. but still.. no update.. i have also called transunion to find out if get bucks had sent an update.. and to my suprise.. nothing has been to sent to them.. despite the lies i have been told everyday for the past 3 weeks.. am i to log a formal dispute fot this to be resolved?... will i have to go thru this **** with all the other accounts i still have to settle???...</p>
<p>I was looking through my credit report.. And I seem to have an account from Feb 2012. Almost 5yrs old. An account that had an initial R420.. The account is now on R10000+, not only is this account prescribed, but I also fail to understand how an account could go from R420 to R10000+.. In have never acknowledged the account nor have I even paid for it in the past 3 years... Please remove this from my record as it is affecting my history negatively..</p>
