Today it's the 18 February 2026 I have been contacting SASSA in connection with an unpaid child grant payment. I haven't received any assistance. My fear is forfeiting the money while I'm given the bad service.Im helpless I feel I'm not going anywhere trying to track the payment because no one is willing to assist me.After sending numerous emails I'm still in the dark and frustrated. I even called the toll free number yesterday but the service i got was very bad.I was told to be patient but my query is to track my payment. Will I receive it or not.
"Dear SASSA, I'm Lebogang Makhonjwa (ID: 8310080811081). I'm reaching out to request assistance tracking my January 2026 grant payment. I've visited a SASSA office, and was informed the payment was made to an Easypay Everywhere account. However, the account has been closed. Easypay has provided proof that the payment was credited to the account, but it was reversed the same day due to the account being closed. Could you kindly track and trace this payment for me? Thank you."
I request that Sassa locate the payment made into a closed Easypay account in my name. I have documentation from Easypay confirming the funds were transferred back to Sassa due to the account being closed."
I want easypay to reverse my grant back to me.I went to them for assistance but I'm sent from their branch to sassa with no assistance. I have sent emails to complain no one is responding.
Beginning of January I saw an advert on Facebook for cell c home router Wifi. I got interested and sent an enquiry. Few days later I received a call from a consultant who explained their options to me. Sadly I didn't qualify for home router instead she said I can qualify for 10G which is R109 per month. I agreed and the call was authentic and I'm a cell c customer so we proceeded I signed the agreement over the phone. She told me I'm going to receive a debit check for that amount and I must accept it. Fine I was shocked when the debit check said R199 I declined it immediately. I started receiving messages from Bestnet.Safebase telling me my delivery is on its way. I was so angry and I contacted cell c support to cancel the agreement but I was given the run around until I hung up. I received calls from them to deliver the sim card but I never agreed for them to deliver. Currently I'm in NO position of their property and they went into my account today to debit R199. I disputed the debit order and reversed it. Now I receive a message from safebase I don't know what safebase is and I don't have any contract with them..they inform me that they tried to debit my account but couldn't succeed. I'm so angry with cell c because 1 as much as I provided them with my account details it was for an authentic transaction.However that open a channel of other untrusted companies to access my personal information. I have already encountered a problem with my account whereby my account couldn't be verified.I had to go to the branch to enquire.I could no longer access my cell phone banking and that resulted into the service being suspended. I had to change the cell phone number because some else is using my number and I'm asking myself how.And Capitec couldn't help instead I was given poor service with my questions unanswered. On the 13th of December 2022 the electric cables got stolen in the early hours of the morning.And the residents of properties where the cables were stolen reported the matter to the police as well as eskom.No one from eskom came over the site to check the damage and the cable was not replaced.We were also affected by the cable loss our electricity was off for a day and sometimes it gets interrupted due the cable theft. Several attempts were made to contact eskom however no one came to attend the matter until today.One of the residents came across eskom technicians who were apparently working in the area and they were told to pay R1500 to install the cable.Two houses are still out of electricity while 2 houses get blackouts time and again.
