Shoprite mini in Johannesburg CBD thinks it is okay to block Albertina Sisulu street during peak hours so that can have stock delivered or cash collected. Shoprite that is a public road, it's not yours!

<p>Took my car to the assesment centre at Hofbro on 2017/03/08. Got a quote by the repairerToyodan on 2017/03/09. Even though my car was drivable Hofbro made my check the vehicle in. The car has a retail value of R 59 500.00. I have OUTsurance essential cover of R 23 800.00. The quote for the repair was R 25 387.74. As the cost was higher than the cover for the vehicle OUTsurance paid me out. I was informed of this on 2017/03/13.</p> <p> </p> <p>I phoned Hofbro to ask what I must do to get my car repaired as they had it. Instead of telling me to contact Toyodan they told me they need to confirm the work can be done for the quoted value. OUTsurance does stipulate that the vehicle should be stipped and checked for unforseen damages prior to repair, if this is not done then OUTsurance will not conver the additional costs. This did not apply in this case as Hofbro were not the repairer nor was OUTsurance going to cover any additional costs.</p> <p> </p> <p>I kept calling to find out what was going on. I was told Teresa then Spiro would call me back. They still have not called. Then I was told there were additional costs as the car was written off. Which is an odd reason. In the meantime I am spending money on Uber. Finally I have enought and kicked up a fuss on 2017/03/24. I was told I need to pay over R 1500.00 as the car had been with Hofro for longer than the free period. What crooks! Please don't go there you will regret it.</p>
<p>We get a letter of demand saying that our account is not FICA compliant and it will be suspended in 10 days., we must present myself at the branch with ID and proof of address. I do this, the bank has every opportunity to update my details.</p> <p> </p> <p>I try to apply for an access bond facility, I fail the security check. I go to my neares branch and chekc my details, they are more than 15 years old! I spend an hour updating my details. This branch does not do business bancking so I cannot apply for the access bond. I try applying againg telephonically, I am told I cannot as I previously failed a security check, ***!</p> <p> </p> <p>This is **** customer experience, but more importantly their accounts clearly are not FICA compliant as they are not actually updating the details even when the client presents themselves. Standard bank this means you are breacking the law! </p>
<p>I had three contracts with mtn. Two had expired, one was to expire on 2016-11-02. The one expiring on 2016-11-02 was the one that had the number I wanted to keep. I asked if I could swap the two numbers and then do the upgrade. I was told I could, I was even charged a fee buy a new mico sim to put it in the iPhone as it was not the upgraded number so was an additional cost. The consultant was more than happy to do the upgrade, saying he had swapped the numbers as well (not only just physically moving the sim). The contact was never cancelled I had to visit the store again to do that. When I went back after 2016-11-16 to cancel the contract I fould the number had not been swapped, moreover I was told it could not be swapped. Now I have a contract I don't want to cancel because of the number and a new contract that I am not using and is costing me R 599.00 per month and is only expiring at 2018-04-02. I am now wasting a total of R 10 183.00, no wonder MTN only has a rating of 2.2. Once all my contracts have expired I will be leaving MTN.</p>
