How do you lodge a complaint against these idiots? I ordered a book nearly two weeks ago and it was supposed to be delivered today. The book was for a birthday this weekend. Now I see these *******s moved the delivery date by a week and didn't even bother to notify me. Absolutely useless people. How difficult is it to deliver a ****** book? I could've imported it by now. Will never by from them again. They've really become more useless than the government services.
Telkom has become the worst service provider in South Africa. I have a 10mb/s line but my average download speed for the past couple of months has been 0.35mb/sec. I have tried to open complaints and they have not responded to a single one. Their "customer service" if you want to call it that, is completely useless. For two months now they have been unable to resolve the issue. Don't get caught up in a contract with these people. I've had to use my cellphone to connect to the internet for 2 months now at huge expenses because the telkom adsl line has become so slow that I can't even open web pages anymore. Yet, I'm stuck in a contract with them for the next few months that i can't get out of.
I have been getting less than 0.1mb on a 10mb/s line for the past 2 months. I am not even able to browse google, let alone load actual pages or emails. The ping from JHB to JHB runs around 1300ms sometimes!! Every single time you phone Telkom they tell you to reset your router, but they never actually do anything to fix the problem. Router resets works for around 5 minutes and then your speed drops to below 0.1mb/s. The first chance I get to get fiber from a different provider, I'm taking it. Don't waste your time with Telkom and their terrible service. As you can see, they don't respond to complaints.

I bought two sealed packets of pressed tongue from Meat World. I had already consumed one of the packets when I noticed a foreign object in the second packet. Upon closer inspection I realized it was some sort of a fly (Photos attached). I immediately lodged a complaint with Meat world. In my complaint I expressed my dissatisfaction with their product and also commented that I want to see what action are taken to ensure this never happens again. Meat world then contacted me and told me that they found the guilty Quality Controller, and that it was a white lady, and that they will be taking disciplinary action against her. They then asked if I will testify against the employee at the hearing. I refused to testify since this is an internal matter and offered to provide them with a signed statement if needed. I was only interested in seeing how they are going to prevent this from happening again. I even stated that I do not want the employee dismissed and that the dismissal of the employee would not prevent this from happening since that is not the root cause of the problem in my opinion. I then left the matter and awaited the outcome and conclusion of my complaint. They conveniently never communicated anything regarding the outcome of my complaint to me. This happened more than a years ago, and nothing had come of it. Since I recently became aware of a similar incident and civil cases are only valid for 3 years, I decided to follow up on the complaint and investigate why this complaint was never resolved. I posted a review of the complaint and my dissatisfaction that it was essentially ignored, on their Facebook page. A couple of weeks later a received a letter from their attorney threatening me to keep quiet about the incident or they will take legal action against me and claim damages. I might be wrong, but I find it highly unjustified that I, as the victim in this, am now being threatened if i don't keep quiet about the foreign object I found in their product. I have also been made aware by their attorney today that they will be instituting legal action against me for the public post regarding the incident. For the time being I will ignore section 55 and 61 of the CPA which is supposed to protect me in this matter. I refer to section Section 2 of the Food, Cosmetics and Disinfectants Act- it is a CRIMINAL OFFENCE to sell or distribute food which is unfit for consumption or which has a foreign object in the packaging. This criminal conduct can be attributed to any party in the supply chain from importer, manufacturer, distributor, retailer, to food outlet regardless of actual knowledge of the foreign object in the food or the state of the foodstuff. Yet Meat World is trying to treat ME like a criminal for creating public awareness regarding this disgusting incident. And this is not from some branch manager. These are the action of Mr. Pereira who claims to be the C.E.O. of Meat World.
I am getting spammed with calls from these damn people! The phone me sometimes twice a day and even in the evenings. I have never done, nor will I ever do any kind of business with them. I have also never even shown any interest in doing any business with these people. When you ask them where they got your number, they say "their database". HOW THE HELL DID MY NUMBER GET INTO THEIR DATABASE?? I am sick and tired of these ****** people phoning me.
These people will not stop phoning me with surveys. They are absolutely harassing me and they refuse to stop. I am honestly on the verge of taking legal action against them.
These people are spamming with promotions after I have done everything humanly possible to remove my number from these annoying groups. They refuse to leave me alone.
I have been struggling with unbelievably bad latency for the past three weeks now. My ping is currently sitting at 1073 ms JHB to JHB!!!!! It is also nearly impossible to reach them on their customer care line, unless you're willing to hold for 3 hours Telkom has become the absolute worst service provider.
They state it is free but it is absolutely not. Dishonest people.
