On one of my holiday trips recently, I was told that The Holiday club has made changes. I can definitely say, it is easier to get bookings now, and the quality of the resorts has improved. It is almost like they heard our concerns. (families with school going children)
The Sales Rep painted a good picture. He said there is a 100% guarantee. At 6 months if it does not work, i can cancel for a full money back guarantee. When i queried the R2000 payment for software, he also said this is just so they can guarantee i do my part. I followed the Training, followed the guidance of the technicial. At 6 months i tried to cancel. They said i went against the contract. I said the Training technical guy said i must do certain things, which was against the contract (only i did not know this was their tactic to go against the contract) They also said i did not trade every week? No details on this, only thing i could think of was Loadshedding which they just ignored me about. Anyhow they said i cannot cancel after 6 months, but must continue for 1 year. I continued, At the year mark, i requested to cancel again, and by the 13th May, they confirmed cancellation was done and debit order cancelled. Well the debit order went off this morning.... At the beginning of this, they said there is NO Cost to me, they **** about this. They said they would give R3000 towards this, this did not happen either. They take a long time to respond to emails.
Put in a request to cancel. They first say they cannot find any paid subscriptions. I have to first proof the debits. They go quiet. Next month the debit goes off again, so i query. They find someone else has used my bank details??? They confirm cancellation, and even send me an email to say no future debits will go off, then a week later, another debit goes through. I query and they say i did not give them enough notice...
I order a Gift Hamper for a 70th Birthday. The Flowers are delivered on time. But the order is incomplete. The Description says - " to make the gift even more special we included a box of ".... That is where the issues comes in, that part of the order does not arrive. When I contacted them, they say the description on their website is wrong. Today a week later, the description is still on their website as I saw it. I call again, and their explanation is we must look at the pictures and not go by the description. Be careful what you order, because they don't go by their descriptions. The packer obviously cannot read.
Great service, Emails confirming process, and 2 days, later delivery arrive.
