What a disaster. I would give minus 100 stars if I could. A 2023 Polo Vivo with 50 000km. A roadworthy certificate not worth the paper it’s printed on. Took delivery on 11 Dec 2025, on 13 Dec 2025 to date, even with the vehicle being in West Cape Volkswagen workshop from 30 Dec 2025 to 19 Jan 2026, doing diagnostics test after getting thr vehicle back there’s still issues with the vehicle that would NOT PASS roadworthy test right now. Between the general manager & the COO of CFAO mobility VW & Audi division, they can’t even take responsibility for selling a faulty vehicle or endanger the purchaser or any occupant of that vehicle. VW financial services financed a unroadworthy vehicle & it seems both VW financial services, Nigel Powis(GM) & Kevin Pillay(COO) just want the contract cancelled, not wanting to replace the vehicle with same or better vehicle or even a consideration to fix vehicle completely VIN AAVZZZ6RZPU011801. I’ve asked CFAO auto team to escalate it above Kevin Pillay, so we will see if there’s a response or any action. What an absolute abysmal experience with West Cape Volkswagen & still ongoing…
Don't order. Missing canisters in my order. Make sure it gets delivered to you and open the package infront of the driver. Takealot return policy is a joke and is ******** to be honesty. If you didn't check the package before sending it, it's on Takealot as the platform ordered from, but they always pass the buck or send T&C's. Takealot complicates everything, so I'll end up not purchasing from them again. Always some bull**** story. Replace it… Your platform, your problem, investigate what, waste your own time, not your clients. I’ll rather pay more and order from P’np, Checkers, Spar, Makro, Game, Hifi corp, even Amazon. Same day or 3 working days replacement, a voucher and a huge apology. Not T&C’s. How can we make your life easier, NOT TAKEALOT, let’s see how much we can **** you off and waste your time…
I’ve never had such atrocious service anywhere in Cape Town, or the Western Cape, for that matter in South Africa or the world. Sorry it was just ATROCIOUS, I HAD ZERO SERVICE FOR MY FAMILY AND MYSELF. 7 different waitrons, 2 different managers, 1 might have been an owner. It was ridiculous. We had no menus, or drinks, or cutlery, or any condiments on the table. the joke was we sat on the deck over looking the cricket ground where my son was attending a birthday party and then we moved out of the wind as we have a baby too, to the front of the Clubhouse. The waitron that was at the entrance when we arrived, walked pass our table 3 times once on the deck, and twice in front of restaurant. So out of 4 interactions, he greeted us at the entrance and that was that… ATROCIOUS, an ABSOLUTE DISGRACE…
I sat with my wife and baby @ the clubhouse, while my son was attending a birthday party adjacent to the restaurant. Sat there 30mins whilst staff and management walked pass us. Didn’t breathe a word to us. Attended to the table right next to us. Didn’t even glance in our direction, whilst they were serving the birthday party my son was attending, not in the restaurant. Adjacent to the restaurant to the cricket field. Atrocious service. I could understand if it at night, then there might have been an excuse that the didn’t see us…
After technical hiccups. Service Excellence gift after gift. The service is the gift and the gift is the cherry on top…
<p>My wife had a high speed tyre burst on the N1 on Thursday 9 February 2017 during rush hour traffic on a high speed corner before the N7 interchange. It's a very dangerous corner as the left hand side has a narrow emergency lane and the right side is also narrow with a concrete barrier. I called Outsurance and they dispatch roadside assistance to aid my wife as I was @ home with our son. From the time of my call, to dispatched assistance and my wife getting home it was under a hour. Mpho stayed in contact telephonically with my wife and myself through the whole process from assistance arriving, to my wife being mobile and back on the road, to her arriving safe at home. It was by far the best roadside assistance from any insurer that I have experienced, ABSOLUTELY EXCELLENT. Thank you very much Mpho and Outsurance. WELL, WELL DONE WITH THE SERVICE RECEIVED AND SECONDARY SERVICE PROVIDER DISPATCHED!!!!!</p>
