I hired Men@Worxs, run by Regina, to carry out roofing work at my property, which came with a 2-year guarantee. Shockingly, the problem resurfaced within a year—and Regina has since gone completely silent. Multiple calls and messages have been ignored. She confirmed appointments to inspect the issue on 14 and 17 April 2025, but failed to show up on both occasions, without so much as a call or message. This is more than poor service—it’s outright negligence and a clear breach of contract. I’m now left with unresolved damage and am preparing to escalate this through legal and consumer protection channels. Avoid Men@Worxs if you value professionalism, integrity and follow-through.
Every day there is an issue with my internet. Since I received email that the tariffs will be increasing from R549 to R755. Now the lines suppose to be faster but more problems. This is a major increase definitely not happy about this. Why must the customer be penalized because 8 speed line is discontinued. Supposed to be charged the same price as the 8 speed line for the 10 speed line. Was paying first R499 then price increased to 549. From 549- to 755 this is ridiculous!!!
I'm extremely unhappy!!!! I HAVE a covid- loan and the agreed date for the debit order is 25th of every month. They deducted today and the FNB app says it will go off again on the 25 December FNB I'M NOT IMPRESSED WITH YOUR SERVICE WHO GAVE YOU PERMISSION TO DEBIT MY ACCOUNT TODAY!!!!!
I am deeply disappointed at the service I received from FNB. I was retrenched and informed FNB about my situation. I have personal loan, a covid loan and a Homeloan with FNB. I submitted a claim for all 3 products. To find out that my Homeloan had no cover and I don't remember the consultant informing me about credit life insurance. So i have to pay Homeloan and payment holiday are offered with alot of interest. So how does fnb assist you. They drowned you further into debt. My personal loan , never new came automatically with credit life insurance .So I'm covered. I called the covid loan department spoke to a lady in September she asked for my UI19 forms, which I submitted immediately. I was cc in an email from the covid loan department requesting assistances from the claims department. I called the claims department in October about the covid loan and they informed me my claim is being assessed. Then fnb deducted money for the covid loan on the 25 October. I called claims department to ask about covid loan. They told me they can't see the loan on my profile. I need to call covid loan department. I called the covid loan department and they told me to call the claims department. I was so frustrated as I spoke to claims and claims tells me I need to covid loan department. Then fnb deducted again on the 25 November. I called fnb today I spent 30 minutes on the been transferred from pillar to post and nobody can give me clear cut guidance on what to do. I received a call later the afternoon from a lady informing me I don't have cover for the covid loan. I asked her why it was not compulsory to have credit life insurance with this covid loan as my personal loan it was compulsory. She couldn't answer me . WHY DID THE COVID LOAN DEPARTMENT EXPLAIN THINGS IN SEPTEMBER ALREADY AND WHY COULDN'T CLAIMS DEPARTMENT GIVE ME CLARITY ABOUT MY SITUATION. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE. She transferred me to fnb complaints department and the call got just dropped. I'm extremely unhappy with the pathetic service I received from fnb. I find myself in a terrible situation being retrenched and this is what FNB do with you as a client. I have cell phone Bill's sitting on the phone with fnb doing my bit to inform them of my situation and this is what you get in return. I am ever sorry for joining FNB Highly disappointed in this bank

<p>WE had our company vehicle (limousine) resprayed at J&D Coachworks Pty Ltd 10 Birmingham Cl, Airport Industria 1, Cape Town</p> <p> </p> <p>Went for a quote and dealt with the owner Jonathan Moore. At first he quoted us R15000.The owner was kind enough to give us a good price of R13000. Jonathan informed us that the job will take 5 days.</p> <p>Vehicle went in on the 8 May 2017 and received a call to collect vehicle on the 12 May 2017. Wow we were blown away how stunning the vehicle looked.</p> <p>Then started vehicle ready to leave and the car started smoking by the engine.OMW this can't be... We gave the vehicle mechanically sound to J&D Coach works. Opened the bonnet,only to find transmission fluid squirting all over the engine. The Power steering pipe had a hole in it. One of the guys took tape to cover hole so we could get home at least. While driving, it felt like the vehicle was pulling heavy. This was quite strange. Got home thank God, I got out of vehicle and there was smoke coming from the back wheels. I wasn’t sure if I should feel happy because the vehicle looked smart but on the other hand I was experiences all these problems with the vehicle. The car was in the care of J&D Coachworks Pty Ltd for one week.</p> <p>I decided to take the vehicle to our mechanic and the bill was R5458.50 later. We discovered that the hand brake cable snapped and the back wheels locked, had to replace the handbrake shoes. After the repair we took the vehicle straight to J&D Coachworks Pty Ltd. Spoke to the owner Jonathan Moore and he said that he will only contribute towards the hand brake job. Jonathan Moore agreed to pay R1850 on 23 May 2017. I sent off my bank details to Jonathan Moore and he replied that he will do EFT and it will take 2 days to clear in my account. I checked on the 25 May no money received. I called Jonathan Moore and he said that he did transfer the money. I sent Jonathan Moore a message on the 27 May, No reply, went to J&D Coachworks Pty Ltd on the 29 May, Jonathan Moore was not there.</p> <p>Sent messages to his phone, he replied, R1850 is little money for him, his wife will EFT money again on the 02 June. Money will clear in 2 days. Waited until the 7 June, still no money in my account. I decided to go to J&D Coachworks on the 9 June; Jonathan Moore was not in due to being very busy. I decided to call Jonathan Moore and he answered saying his wife will transfer the money on 12 June. Still no money on the 14 June,</p> <p> </p> <p>I eventually sent Jonathan Moore a message to say he must stop messing me around and just pay the R1850 he agreed to pay. He replied I must stop messaging him and calling him and deal with the guys that work for him.</p> <p>On this note I will never use J&D Coach works again. I really would not like another customer to experience what I had to go through. This is not how you treat a valuable customer.</p>
