On the 4th of November I was admitted in Hospital and I was there for 3 days, on my first day a consultant called me and told me they were suppose to treat me at casualty and send me home. Now the hospital is demanding from me as Discovery decline the claim. I called them today wanting to know what was the reason for them to decline the claim. I was told the hospital didn't give them enough information for them to approve the claim. The consultant told me to contact the hospital for them to give me the information they require and they can review the claim. My question was what is the purpose of me paying every month only to cover myself when I am in hospital.? Because if this is how we are going to be treated then I must cancel the medical aid. I never choose to be admitted, for the fact that I woke up at 3am to go to the hospital because I was ill. If the hospital decides to admit me, how should I refuse a doctors medical advise as I am not a doctor. Discovery was supposed to contact the hospital there and then and sort it out with the hospital. I pay every month so that I can be covered should I fall ill. Not for this nonsense.
<p>I went to MTN Jabulani to an upgrade on my number, only to find out that the number has been upgraded on the 6th February in which i never did. On the 7th February i called MTN call centre and i was told that it was upgraded and phone was delivered on Friday the 6th Feb in Cape town i asked the cunsultant how is that possible because i never did the upgrade. I was request to do an affidavant and forward the info to MTN which i did. How on earth did they upgrade and even deliver without verifying the client documentation and address still baffles me.Yesterday i phone MTN to do a follow up as i have received a bill of R1200.00 that i have to pay. The consultant told me that i have to pay as they will cut my line. Why must i pay for something i didnt get. To me this has fraud and corruption written all over it.</p>
