I bought a car from McCarthy Toyota in 2009. I did not finance the vehicle. At the time the dealership gave me duplicate registration papers for the vehicle, something I did not realise. Now that I want to sell the car, I phoned McCarthy to request the original papers. The finance lady to whom I spoke was both supercilious and condescending, essentially telling me that McCarthy only keeps papers for 5 years and that I must "request" the papers from the licencing department. Now anyone who has ever dealt with the licencing department knows that you need a day to request anything from them. I am really not pleased with the service from Toyota. Why did they never give me the original papers? Why is it my problem to obtain the paperwork now? Is anyone from Toyota McCarthy going to contact me to resolve this problem, as they should have done right at the outset. I wonder.
Really not pleased with the Menlyn Lindt chocolate shop. Bought five milk bunnies today (one has already been dispatched to its recipient ?) and was looking forward to buying one white chocolate bunny. The shop was brimming with bunnies of all sizes and flavours but not a white bunny in sight. I know they’re available because I saw them at the Lindt shops in Cape Town. I was told by the shop assistant that the white bunnies had been sold out and that Woodlands also had none. Really, Lindt Menlyn, if this is true in a shop where are hundreds of milk, dark and hazelnut bunnies, surely you should manage your stock better? If the white bunnies are that popular, why don’t I see them anywhere in Gauteng? I suspect that the Gauteng Lindt shops simply don’t stock the white chocolate bunnies., and I’d feel better about this if the saleslady had just been honest about it ?
Earlier this year I ordered a laptop from Webantics online. Unfortunately the laptop was out of stock at the supplier. However, Jackie from customer service really went the extra mile to ensure that my laptop arrived as soon as possible. The tech team at Webantics also worked hard to ensure that the customisation of the laptop was completed in a day. And about a half an hour ago my laptop was delivered, as promised. Throughout the process Jackie kept in contact by sending me emails to keep me up to date on the progress of my order. Thank you guys! I will certainly recommend you to anyone who wants to buy a computer.

I made an appointment to have my car fitted with a bluetooth Parrot device this morning. I was phoned at about 1230 to say that the installation had been done. However, when I arrived at the fitment centre, it turned out that there were compatibility issues with the bluetooth device and my iPod. Bongani and Leah went out of their way to help me and a half an hour later, the problem had been resolved and my iPod was working.

I can highly recommend this team for their patience and professionalism!

On 21 December 2016, Quentin of SA Garagedoors ( ********** 103) advised me that my garage door motor needed replacing. Whether this was so, I'll never know, I suppose. At any rate R5500 later I had a new Centurion garage door motor with a one year guarantee. Last week (23 February 2017) the garage motor started malfunctioning - presumably as a result of all the rain. My partner and I have tried to no avail to get Quentin to honour his one year guarantee which he had flourished with great confidence, and to come out to investigate what the problem is and to repair it. Yesterday he was going to send a team who never arrived. Despite several phone calls, smses and emails, I have had no feedback from Quentin or an explanation for his no-show. In fact when he sees my or my partner's number he simply doesn't pick up.

I now am obliged to call out and pay another contractor to fix the motor which is still under guarantee and the repair of which I should not have to pay for. I am extremely unhappy about the unprofessional attitude of SA Garagedoors. Moreover, they are giving Centurion gate motors a bad name. And people should be warned not to make use of their services or to risk getting burned as I have been.
