I have been trying to get hold of FNB to re-activate the paypal account my mom had with them but which they deactivated without notice or reason. Tried to phone as this is in my moms name and she does not hear so well, was trying to help only to get told they cannot do it on someone else behalf even though she is my mom could not give me a better solution to solving this problem. Then tried to email no response no notification my email is received. Why is FNB the only bank that can do paypal transactions? This is beyond a joke with banks and getting back to people with inquiries such poor communication.
Do not whatever you do sign up for there uncapped business for LTE they are ripoff you cannot cancel within 6 months without being charge a R1000 for nothing plus the one month cancellation fee on top of that. This is a hidden cost put under a lot t&c's in the middle of nowwhere poor service and response to why you are being charge such a huge amount. Speeds were also poor could barely do any work

I am very disappointed with the paypal division of FNB i signed up to do the profile as I don't want account I bank with someone else but have a paypal account I would like to get my money out of I submitted the required fica documents but have not had an answer weather approved or not. Write to them still nothing. This is unacceptable from a bank.
For over 20 years I have been a customer of standard bank both in business and personal recently their banking charges have become ridiculous I had an unpaid return fee of R147 on small items like R500 about in April it was R60 then again in July I had one and it was R147 how do you justify your pricing when you don't have that many staff anymore with retrenchments and stuff and everything is supposed to be automated why is their such a huge cost on something like that when it is electronic??
Had very good service from them very helpful and gave lots of information also pricing was very good.
<p>I made a payment to a company in Botswana for clients of ours who where going on holiday( this is for quiet a big amount) did the forex online which I had done in December with the same banking details and had gone through with no problem. I processed the payment and sent all relavent documents gave them a few days for it to go through then we checked with Botswana they had not received the payment so phoned FNB they then said it was going through that there was a samll problem and it had been fixed. Give it another day and still the same response. After about 2 weeks with no one actually saying there was a problem or being contacted that there was an issue the money came back into our account but was short by R1800. Have written to them tried to find out why this happened still no contact this is very frustrating .</p>
