This is a SHOCKING company to deal with!!! Please do not use them!! I placed an order of over R3000 for chef jackets on 10 November, more than a month ago! I followed up with them on their whatsapp number on 14 November, and on 16 November they rep**** that they are waiting for chef jackets "its still in production with manufacturer". Now I month later, I still have no delivery, and no feedback from the company. Also, NOWHERE on their site do they mention that they do not have these items in stock. So when ordering, I believed that everything will be in stock. But apparently, this is not the case. Their website is anyway a disgrace, as you cannot follow the link to your account details, previous order or track your current order. I cannot believe that a company who deals like this are still allowed to operate!!
This is not the first time KFC Postmasburg delivers poor service. For the umpteenth time KFC Pmg did not have ice cream available, Sunday, 8 October 2018 at roundabout 16:30. That is not the worst of it. No apologies were given, the manager that was standing with the cashier at the order point by the drive through just glared at us, not offering any assistance. The fact that they are out of stock on anything is already unacceptable, but to be treated rudely and in a don't-care-attitude is ridiculous!! At the very least, they can at least put a sign at the entrance of the drive-through and on the door when something is not available as to not waste our time. It is service like this that results in businesses closing down in small towns.
I cannot believe that every single upgrade with Telkom has resulted in extremely bad service and utter disappointment! I am getting so sick and tired of bad service from big companies! My mother was phoned by a sales agent to do an upgrade on her one contract. The deal was not properly explained to her, she couldn't hear the sales agent properly, they did not send anything in writing, and now she sits with a top up contract she did not want. She has never had a top up contract, so why would the smear one off on her? She has been a loyal customer for years now with numerous contracts with them, so why is she being taken advantage of? That is case 1. Her other contract she upgraded to get the Samsung Note9 which is advertised everywhere, by Telkom, Samsung, Vodacom and Mtn, that is come with a bundle including of a wireless charger, tripod, HDMI cable and R500 voucher towards Samsung products. The phone was delivered, but without this bundle, with no explanation, no contact was made, nothing! This is completely unacceptable!! Companies like Telkom try to cut corners wherever they can to help their bottom line but ***** their customers knowingly with no concern to them whatsoever! Is there no regulation on these types of fraudulent customer service? How can these companies not be held accountable for their no-care service? Yes, we are the idiots keeping them in business, but the one is as bad as the other one! So what can we as consumers do? Keep our mouths shut and just say thank you all the time? Enough is enough!

Over the weekend, I sent Telkom a Messenger message that they must please call my mom regarding adding the Bolt-on entertainment deal to an existing contract. Received a reply on Monday morning that they will do so. They phone my mom on Tuesday. They asked HER what her query was about, and then informed her she is at the wrong department. My mom then gets transfered to a sales person who does not know what it is my mother wants. She then asked them to contact me as I can explain the details better.

Up to today, no phone call.

Yesterday late afternoon I sent another Messenger message. By yesterday evening, seeing that I still had no response from them, I posted on their Facebook wall. I accidentally came accross this reply that was posted:

Hi Hein, sorry for the delayed response. Unfortunately, you have to go in store to purchase the entertainment Bolt-on. This cannot be done telephonically or online. Check our site for info: https://secure.telkom.co.za/.../plan/entertainmentbolton/
Like · Reply · 7 hrs · Edited

So herein the next problem: My mother has taken out 2 mobile contracts (the one contract is @ R1199.00 per month) without having set foot in a Telkom shop. Problem nr 2: herewith the "closest shops" in my area:

Kimberley - 204.0 km

Bloemfontein - 345.1 km

Potchefstroom - 419.7 km

Waterfall mall Rustenburg - 478.4 km

Vanderbijlpark - 489.0 km

Key West - 507.4 km

Clearwater - 517.2 km

Southgate (Braamfontein) - 518.9 km

Cresta - 523.5 km

So now, do they really expect us, to drive a minimum of 400 km (there and back), to spend R600-R800 on petrol, just to activate a R99 deal?!?!?! YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME!!!!

I was a huge fan of Telkom in the beginning, but after 6 months of having my contract and now with this latest debacle, I am so disappoionted with them. They are after all just like all the other cellular service providers!!!

Nevermind that it took 3 days for the final response, after 2 calls, from the wrong departments
