I ordered from Caterling South Africa earlier this year and paid online. Several items were out of stock, so I was given store credit. Now, when trying to use that credit, I placed a new order and clearly asked twice in my emails for the delivery to go to my Johannesburg address. Despite that, Angela sent it to Knysna instead. This mistake means I now have to pay for additional courier costs to get the goods back to me — completely unnecessary if the instructions had been followed. To make things worse, communication has been extremely slow; it takes nearly two weeks for her to reply to a single email. This level of service is unacceptable. Orders and customer communication should be handled with attention and efficiency — not ignored or sent to the wrong province.

This is a SHOCKING company to deal with!!! Please do not use them!! I placed an order of over R3000 for chef jackets on 10 November, more than a month ago! I followed up with them on their whatsapp number on 14 November, and on 16 November they rep**** that they are waiting for chef jackets "its still in production with manufacturer". Now I month later, I still have no delivery, and no feedback from the company. Also, NOWHERE on their site do they mention that they do not have these items in stock. So when ordering, I believed that everything will be in stock. But apparently, this is not the case. Their website is anyway a disgrace, as you cannot follow the link to your account details, previous order or track your current order. I cannot believe that a company who deals like this are still allowed to operate!!

Absolute shocking experience. Brought a fridge, came without clips for the shelves, wrong key, no manual and *****s missing from the back panelling.They didn't have the professionalism to check before selling it to me and haven't been able to help since saying the supplier was on leave etc. Don't use them!

I bought a vacuum packing machine after I asked for a quote. Paid online and then got told that there are no stock because of the bad old “system error”. Now, the same lies and excuses and I can’t get my refund.

I wished I had read this complaint before I did business with Caterlynx.I bought two deep fryers and when it they were delivered ,I found out that one was out of the box and was missing parts.I enquired with the Johannesburg branch with a lady named Yolanda and she referred me to her Manager Jose at their Cape Town branch.I was a lied as to why that happened and was told to buy the parts and install them and Caterlynx will reimburse. I have never heard of such and I plea with anyone not to do business with Caterlynx. Rather spend more money and buy from their competitors. Don't be a vicitim like Mr Morna

Ordered products but had to return it, beware this business charges a 20% handling fee which is excessive, not sure how a business can justify such a high handling fee, IT'S A RIPP OFF ! Many many other businesses to choose from I won't support this specific business EVER again

I was looking for an ice machine on Bid or Buy, and came across Caterlynx add on an industrial ice machine and bin, ordered and paid for it in full, together with the shipping cost as advertised by them on Bid or Buy, now they don't want to deliver the advertised product to me, claiming they made an error on the price, which is not my mistake, so i suggested to them that i will be happy to take a much cheaper one, and they still don't want to honour the sale, without me paying the difference. Why should i pay for their mistake, blaming Covid for retrenching peolpe and thus the reason for their mistake. Wouldn't recommend doing business with them at all, because Jose Agrela doesn't want to come to terms of handling a situation and only wants his way. I never had any problems using Bid or Buy previously with any other supplier ever, until i came across Caterlynx and Jose Agrela who doesn't want to honour a sale on something they advertised at a set price.
