If there is a review with more than a one star it is meant for the resort management and not First Group. First Group be super nice and efficient up to payment. They leave the problems of double booking or wrong dates to the resort management team. They should not interact with people because they cannot take responsibility or resolve issues. The moment you do a booking through them you are at risk. Rather contact the resort management.
I bought a vacuum packing machine after I asked for a quote. Paid online and then got told that there are no stock because of the bad old “system error”. Now, the same lies and excuses and I can’t get my refund.
Should you read this you have either already been exposed to their “service” or you are smart by checking if they are a honourable company. My experience is very consistent to other 1-star customers and you can expect the following as a given: • You will pay an additional fee for at least one vehicle even though you check and rechecked aarto for fines. • Only part of your submission will be processed. Normally the cheaper smaller registration fees. • Your money will not be paid out before 30 days (which I battle to comprehend) and also only after your enquiry/complaint. • The staff are all “over” courteous and apologetic in their emails and conversation. This was my experience as I normally have a couple of licenses to renew but it could be different if you only have a single vehicle to renew. I renewed my licences with penalties of course (after they eventually refunded me) at NATIS themselves. They caused me 2 months of penalties plus the additional phoney charges.
Makro online deliveries appear to play unfair: 1) Accept payment for order 2) Inform within 2 days that delivery will take place. 3) Deliver 4 days later partially. 4) Adjust the order without notice stating that items were ‘out of stock’. Normally items are not out of stock if you should check. 5) The order is marked as delivered and complete. 6) Invoice shows the delivered items only but no credits are assigned nor communicated and you lost your money unless you take hours off your busy schedule to contact them. This is not a once off modus operandi but is proven in the frequency of occurrence. It is a passive ******* procedure.
