I WAS ****** TWICE IN DAY!!!. ONCE BY VODACOM. Kid you not! So, we were unfortunately ****** in our home while we slept last or early hors this this am. Watches, all our sneakers and my phone taken from next to bed where I was sleeping. So being South African no biggie, cops, HOA, cctv video footage now sorted, I decided to go off to VODACOM to buy a new phone. I need to be connected urgently. I too have an important job. VODACOM Northgate then sell a "new phone". R15500.00 cash transaction. Firstly the salesman was extremely quick and cagey when doing this cash deal, and in fact is why I double checked the packaging when having coffee straight after the purchase. Also, when asking the woman now quickly putting the cover and screen saver on where the outer plastic for the box was the lying ***** reaches into the bin and waves plastic at me. So blatant deception again. BLATANT ****. Request video footage from the store. I challenge you. You will see what these lying sacks of **** did! Anyway, got the phone. R15500 later. Went to have a coffee and then realise this phone isn't new. It's second hand or old stock and that the salesman, manager and screen wrapper woman were in cohorts to palm it off on me. *****s. They later admitted they "were supposed to tell me it was an old stock item" but conveniently never did. And then offer me a refund after 7 days. So they can lie and cheat you out of cash in 3 mins but now 7 day refund after they get caught cheating the system. So, VODACOM are happy to de***** a customer that just told them I’ve been ******, and just come out of a traumatic home invasion. They will look you in the eye and ***** your money again. SIC man! What kind of sic people or companies like VODACOM would do that to a human being. Perhaps I'm being oversensitive but being ******, conned or ****** from twice in day and by a VODACOM store nonetheless seems a little fu**cked up. I am not sure what further action or remedy I even need yet from this pathetic excuse of a service business

My advice is lock up, be vigilant and never shop at a VODACOM store specifically NORTHGATE. They are 100% knowingly, intentionally and willingly a bunch of ****s and *****s. And when you confront as *****s VODACOM then offer you the option of a refund in 7 to 10 day. VODACOM will knowingly and blatantly look you in the eye and lie to your face. Then when caught at their own BS propose a refund because in truth they never even had the phone in stock that i was buying. It was easier to de***** me. After being early hours of this morning. VODACOM you are truly pathetic. I will be taking this further.
Having been an FNB client for years, my portfolio including two business accounts (one platinum) or so I was sold, a substantial credit card facility, a substantial business overdraft, countless Petrol cards, a home loan, car finance, and personally a FNB private wealth account. Now I'm also not much of a loyalty card person. So, NO Dischem, Spar, Checkers or any of that BS because I do not need this **** in my life. So, when flying I have always had the privilege of using the SLOW lounge facilities due to my "private Wealth and Business" or so I have been SOLD! So it's been to my sheer amazement and embarrassment, I may add that my last two three trips I have been turned away. Fortunately I also have an INVESTEC account (please note FNB) and thank God for the efficiency of INVESTEC because my embarrassment was saved through the bidvest lounge. Anyway upon querying this refusal to access I was intelligently informed ( I use that term loosely) that I no longer am entitled to access in a SLOW lounge because my eBucks level is not up to scratch (Also last year I have three eBucks accounts linked to my various bank acvount. Last year I spent a substantial amount of those out of the various accounts on takealot items. 20 000 I think. So the fact they rate me as not good enough or that perhaps the imbeciles haven't realised that I do have 3 eBucks accounts and required them to be linked but the idiots just don't get it. Same as they don't get your change address or anything else. Steve we want you back.) and since they are now the controllers of such unless I have the relevant eBucks level or associate points I can just take my Private Wealth account and **** off!! They don't want Private Clients anymore. So I asked you this dear friends and you ****ing FNB geniuses if all that is required is an eBucks pint card to access a slow lounge why the hell am inpaying all these additional bank costs for "private wealth" and "platinum business" and all the other nonsense from these sub educated employees if as a "special client" I can't even access a slow lounge. My opinion is that if I was, the idiot CEO of FNB I would resign before I am fired or this bank crashes completely. It leaves me grasping for an explanation. What happened to "Steve" and the good work he did winning clients.....FNB you bunch of sub educated ****holes....I would rather bank with CAPITEC or simply stay with INVESTEC where the smart money bank. VIVA VIVA FNB!! So the moral of the story my friends is that I no longer require a "private wealth wealth " account or a "platinum business account " all I need is BB T card and an eBucks accounts. Geez what a **** I've been all the years. Did I over think it? Was I over sold the benefits of private wealth with FNB. The sad part : FNB to please answer either of these questions however I fear that as per norm they just hide, ignore and ***ar in their world of incompetence and **** business practice! VIVA FNB!! SPINELESS IDIOT ***ARDS.
I recently bought an Omoda ( Chery) from Omoda/Chery Northcliff. 9October 2023) This is a true story. All facts can be verified by vehicle owner or reference Chery/Omoda Northcliff or Sandton The vehicle itself is a complete failure. It’s as if China is building the **** made them infamous in the 80s. And they are still dumping there failed products on the world. Well South Africa. The OMODA is Chinese junk. In the meantime Northcliff dealership's service department "closed down". Not enough sales they say. Testament to the junk I speak of. Now I have to drive to Sandton for service, maintenance, and other issues (many, many,many). Which, trust me are part of the joys of owning this cheap Chinese junk I refer to. The car is *******. The vehicle software ( Onboard and Android Auto) has never fully functioned. The screen display shows in half the screen (if that makes sense). All the applications "hang or freeze in one way or another. Waze being the biggest problem. How to navigate when your GPS freezes during loadshedding traffic…….!!!!! The aircon does not work. The fuel economy has never been close to what they said it was. For a 1.5 engine 13-16 litres/100kms is pretty steep I’d say. They can’t fix that. Run it in “sport” mode was their recommendation for the trying to bring economy in line. Even the little wheel cap on the front right fell out and they don’t have stock of that. This is all true today the 15/03/2024. Oh and the brakes were completely trashed (metal to metal) at 9000 kms. For which they wanted to charge me!! So expect brake change every 9000. Not covered under motor plan apparently. So after taking it to Northcliff we came away unfixed and nothing resolved and no better off. They then closed down. Except for the advice described above. Just pathetic service. So……Sandton here we come. First round…..surely after three weeks in the shop we'd (they) would be able to fix issues. Wrong!!! No clue. None what so ever. THREE WEEKS!! So after then had to collect it last Friday (08/03/2024). Returned Monday (11/03/2024). Them on Wednesday....hello your cars ready!! Thursday morning....sorry we were wrong your car is still broken. FUN FACT: OMODA Sandton cannot be in the same place as Chey Sandton. Is that because Chery does not want to be associated with a crumbling Chinese junk brand like Omoda?? Them: We actually have no idea. We see it's broken. We see it doesn’t work. We admit it's faulty. But unfortunately, we have no plan or the any clue. No idea how to fix it. So please take your car back broken and we will get back to you when we have some news. THIS IS AN ACTUAL VEHICLE DEALERSHIP IN JOHANNESBURG IN THE YEAR 2024……..Omoda Sandton. One can see why now….they are in serious trouble. It appears this brand isn’t making it. So as it stands I have an OMODA that the software is faulty, the motor (consumption) is faulty, it’s still missing that little wheel cap and there is no service to speak to of or any real future plan of action to remedy this. FUN FACT: I have a 3.0L, V6, twin turbo, C43 AMG. It uses less fuel than an OMODA C5 or whatever the Chinese call this ****py derivative!! The stats say 7-8 litres/100kms…..show me one single Omoda that does that. It is false advertising. Have I bought a dud, is OMODA (Chery) going **** up in SA already. Is Chery looking to distance themselves from the OMODA brand because it really is such Chinese junk that they do not want to be associated with it anymore or be dragged down with their apparent imminent demise? Chery? Omoda? Whats the deal here guys? This is a true story. Spent a day looking for an Xbox. Got hold of Joseph at Coppercart. At 8:00pm in the evening. Found what I needed. Negotiated a price. And in 20 min the Xbox was delivered to my door. Excellent service. Great guy. I would recommend Coppercart to any prospective buyer.
