I have used Fly and Park at Looking4Parking at King Shaka airport in Durban twice now, and was very happy with the service. The staff is punctual and polite. I was also able to change a drop off time with no hassles at short notice. Lovely to pick up a clean car, with no extra miles on the clock. Very reasonably priced service. Thank you Fly and Park
My daughter booked an online overnight visa service on the Monday for a Wednesday, before 11am collection at the South Korean Embassy - marked as Urgent Visa, and paid more for Visa insurance. On Wednesday afternoon we contacted DHL as we found out that the visa had not been collected. On the 3rd call we made we eventually found out that DHL required a letter of authorisation for the collection, the first we had heard about this. We contacted the Embassy who confirmed that this was not required as we had emailed them on the Monday confirming that DHL would collect the visa. DHL were informed that the flight was booked for Friday morning hence the urgency, but they were not concerned. They refused to collect it on Wednesday as they said the driver was already out on the road even though we managed to email them the required letter of authorisation. Only after 11am on Thursday the collection was done. We spent hours again on Thursday on the phone - and after the package was eventually collected, DHL confirmed that they would not be able to deliver it before 9am on the Friday. After many phone calls and follow up emails completing the necessary documents we changed the delivery to DHL at the airport. On Friday enroute to the airport we phoned again and found out that the package was not at the airport but had been taken to Long Street in Cape Town centre. Luckily we managed to reroute and collect it in CT. My daughter just managed to get the flight. I couldn't mark this as ZERO stars. But this should be. The stress and added cost this caused us as a family cannot be measured in rands. We spent the last few days of our time together on the phone, (my daughter was leaving for a one year work contract and I had flown to Cape Town to assist her) spending hundreds of rands on cell phone charges. We were horrified at the extremely low level of service, lack of communication and above all the absence of empathy and concern. Perhaps DHL works for businesses but it certainly doesn't worry about the individual.
I am on the Mweb/Telkom Lte product Warning... the system does not work correctly, data is being stolen. I have notified Mweb on 2 occasions. This last time, I lost 20G. It happens when you top up data. This "once off" data gets used until your recurring monthly data comes in. Whatever data you had not yet used on the once off purchase, gets frozen until the expiry date, and then disappears. Instead of finishing the "once off", the system immediately starts using your new monthly recurring data allocation. Mweb refuse to even acknowledge the issue and duck and dive every query or complaint. I actually think they have made an art of how to avoid dealing with issues. Long telephone queues and a terrible fault reporting system that never deals with the problem. Its not even that complicated, there is an obvious system fault. Everyone using Telkom Lte that buys topup data would be affected. I have proof. I have been told that I have to wait for another year, before I can leave Mweb/Telkom Lte, without being penalised. In addition to having lost chunks of data, the line is shocking!!! The worst. I cannot work from home, and have had to get an alternative wifi product. Telkom Lte gives me about 2mbs download speed and next to nothing upload speed. Technical people from Mweb have told me that the advertised speed is not guaranteed and suggested that I pay the Telkom "exit fee" and go over to MTN Lte, as this works. A Telkom technician that came around said that Meb have given me the incorrect modem. Who knows?
Beware!!! I went onto Telkom Lte with Mweb (Total joke, beware of Mweb as well, I have done a separate review to deal with that). Warning... the system does not work correctly, data is being stolen. Since going on to Mweb Lte in January 2019, the wifi speed and quality has been shocking. However, even worse than the pathetic line is the headaches that come with trying to get assistance from Mweb. Please be warned.... Mweb's online fault reporting is shocking. You get logged out with seconds and to complete a query it takes many logins before this can be completed. My queries were continually being marked as resolved for months. I would have to open another query and they would close it. Very dodgy service! To phone Mweb is almost an impossibility... you will be at least 30th in the queue and will wait for over an hour - so a huge airtime balance is required. Once you get through, your chances of getting your query sorted, is not great. It is over a year, and I have not managed to get a stable internet service as yet. I was told recently (after I had a huge freakout) by an Mweb employee that I will have to pay about R1000 if I change service providers, as they do not guarantee any minimum speed on their product that they offer. I was told that I could however pay a fee of about R1000 and go over to another more stable product with Mweb! They have eventually fully acknowledged that the product that they have given me is useless. Apparently I have another year to go before I can change products without a penalty. When I asked at the beginning of going on to this product, I was told that I could change after a year... Mweb now insists that it is 2 years. In addition, one cannot top up with data online, you have to sit on the phone for an hour or two to get someone to do this for you. costing at least R100/R200 in airtime. Another thing worth being warned about is the ridiculous multi page conditions that MWEB refer to and which they can obviously change at whim. And the multitude of explanations that one can receive from the different people you speak to. There is no continuity and MWEB seem to avoid wanting to commit to anything in writing. My daughters are have similar problems with Mweb although their line is fibre and stable. But they have the same frustrating issues of communicating with MWEB. I still need to work out how to get away from this useless internet provider. It is easier said than done!
The website states "Delivery takes place within 5 to 21 working days after payment being received, however we normally ship within 10 working days after". I placed an order on the 8 July and still have not received item. I had no communication from them and queried again on the 20 July. Delivery date was amended and I was told product would be dispatched between 17 and 24th August. On the 25th August, after not receiving any communication, I queried again. Took me all day to establish that they had refunded me on the 26th June into an unknown bank account. I am now waiting for this to be resolved. Poor service and inadequate communication.
Placed an order in July, meant to be 2 weeks delivery. Then they said it would be delivered in August. Today I spend the entire day trying to sort this out. Couldnt get through on the phone. Eventually a refund proof of payment was emailed to me. The refund was to an unknown bank account at a bank I have never banked with. Still waiting for someone to get back to me! Beware potential buyers!!
