I hired a car on the 26th of January and returned it the morning of the 29th. When I hired the car, I was told by the lady in the Strand branch that if I use a debit card, the refund will be returned after 7 working days, but if I use a credit card, it will be released within 24 hours. I chose the credit card, even though my bank fees will be higher. By the 3rd the R2000 deposit was not paid back yet, so I contact their accounts department and was told it will reflect in my bank within 24 hours. It is now the 6th and it still does not reflect. Now the branch does not answer my calls anymore and accounts do not answer my emails. Do not trust them.
I received an email from MFC (Nedbank) requesting for proof of my insurance. I am insured at Nedbank and I send them this proof which is 4months old. They then came back and said that I need to provide proof not older than 3 months. I requested a confirmation letter from Nedbank, which I still haven't received. Now MFC threatens to take out further insurance on my behalf and add it to my monthly installment. Surely they can request this info from Nedbank?? They are both departments within Nedbank!
Whoever is reading this, do NOT use Netstar! My car insurance is with Virseker and included in this, is the tracker. Virseker pays this to Netstar, yet Netstar sends, me threatening sms messages, stating that my account is handed over to a debt collector. I emailed them, and they acknowledged that they loaded a debit order in error and that they will reverse deductions made. But this morning, I received a threatening sms again. They are *****sters!
Worst service ever. ****** lady called Edna. Walked right past me to help another person of colour. I stood in branch for about 5minutes with not a single staff member even greeting or inform me that they will be right with me when they are available. This happened at the Strand branch. After a while I just walked out wothoit beimg helped.
They sell second hand items. I bought a supposedly Qualitel smart bulb, but it arrived in a torn taped up box. The bulb does not work and it feels very light as if it has no working mechanics inside. I had to pay petrol to collect, plus a R40 collection fee and now petrol money to send it back. I will probably also have to wait 5 working days for my money back. Do not trust Takealot, they sell used broken items!!! Even Temu is better than them!

To all potential fibre clients. Afrihost does not credit for outages, so should your internet be down due to fault not on your side, even if for more than a month, you will still have to pay in full. They can therefore not be able to supply you with internet access, but still hold you liable to pay. The support is also shocking. Should you have an access issue after 17:00, you will not be assisted. I tried their WhatsApp support once, and held on for over 3 hours before a technician responded.
According to Fastway my parcel was delivered and I signed for it, which I did. I never received the parcel, so it was either ****** by their driver or by the company itself! I tried to phone the Cape Town depot, but after holding on for 31 minutes, I gave up. They are *****ulent and service is poor!
Did some clothing shopping at Somerset Mall and the level of service I received from the Edgars branch was just great! They have a bog range of clothing at very good prices. Quality of the clothes also great. The cashier guy was especially very efficient and friendly.
I did some garden shopping at the Stodels at the Somerset Mall and from the display on the outside, to where you enter the nursery, all is just nice. The staff is super friendly and helpful and they have something of everything. All your garden needs are catered for. And even though their prices are good, you get a further discount if you are a club member.
