The rewards team at Ster Kinenor must be the most disorganized lot I have yet to come across. I am a member of their STER KINEKOR FAN CLUB which grants you 4 tickets a month as well as points for every movie watched. Their app often has incorrect info about booking dates, does not display the amount of tickets available to use and their point award system is just enough to drive you to write a bad review. NOT ONCE in a YEAR (in 2025) have the points been awarded correctly if at all. It is now at a point where I mail them after every movie to ask them to add the points to my total. I think I have exceeded 50 e-mails in total. It's frustrating and I would NOT USE THIS REWARD SERVICE if you do not like to fight for every point that is yours after you. Please Ster Kinekor, for goodness sake, employ a decent coder or app writer that actually knows what they are doing!

When you try to close your account they force you to settle the outstanding fees or you get a bad credit score from them when. TERRIBLE SERVICE DELIVERY and they plain straight LIE. When you have an issue its impossible to contact them, NO ONE PICKS UP THE PHONE at the call centre and good luck finding any other direct contact details. Odered a line installation via Rocketnet on 12 Dec 2022 Metrofibre confirmed the install to be done on 11 /12 Jan 2023 The days came and went and Metrofibre did not pitch for the work. Logged a ticket with their customer care, basically had to proove that the installation was ordered, which I did. They kept blaming Rocketnet who the proved to me that they place the order on 12 Dec last year. I ask for a line manager to call me several times. They did not even bother with a reply. I bought a Telkom LTE Router 2 years ago and my contract completed. I have tried to upgrade to another contract that involves a tablet as part of the deal and omg has there been issues: 1 - I replied to their retention centre letter and informed them that I would like to upgrade to the tablet they linked that was available. The link was a dead end. 2 - I contacted the sales dept. to upgrade me, it was promised but nothing happened 3 - After waiting patiently for 2 weeks I contacted sales via phone and was asked to complete an online upgrade, which I did, nothing happened 4 - After a week I called they said there is no such on my account and I should rather visit a shop. 5 - I visited the Telkom shop in the mall and had to deal with unhelpful sales persons who told me I had to apply online. I asked to speak to the manager but they said he she was busy in a meeting. Read sleeping in the back or not a the store. 6 - Eventually after loud Karen like behavior in the shop I had the shop people on the phone to their own online people. 7 - I was asked to sign a Consumer Contract Renewal form which I couldn't read as the printer at Telkom Springs Mall was low on ink. 8 - I asked about when the tablet would be delivered they said no I had to come to the shop to collect it, they only deliver phones. 9 - I left the shop with a illegible contract with the promise that they would call me to collect the tablet when it arrives, there were 7 on stock 10 - a week later I tried to use the Telkom Talk to Me service to track my order, the links were dead 11 - I inquired about a new service and was contacted within 10 minutes. I asked the person to check my account but she said no new device had been ordered and there was no indication on my account of the tablet I was waiting for. 12 - The person could not help me and said she would put me through to the correct dept, the phone rang for a while then the call was cut TELKOM HAS THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE IN SOUTH AFRICA If you are able to deal with ANYONE BUT HELLKOM
They must be feeling the pinch but I have had numerous bad experiences from their meat department. Specifically - FRANKS smoked Vienna's Please be very carefully of their meats, it's generally great but boy oh boy are there some new brand STINKERS in-between. Also make sure you check EACH and EVERY EXPIRY date as the controls there have become lax as well.
