The service we have had from takelot with regard to a fridge purchase has been diabolical. They delivered it damaged, they can't remove it immediately, it needs to be logged on their app where they then schedule a collection. The problem with that was you can't even arrange this for a suitable time as their courier service is through another company and the communication between takealot and the courier is non existant. So many people must never receive their goods as this assumes that everyone is home between 8am and 5pm. Eventually after many phone calls and an absolute mission they collect their damaged fridge and now we wait. That was a disaster as each morning I would receive the same sms stating that takealot would collect that day and then a further message to say the collection wasn't possible as nobody was at the address and each day for 10 odd days the same thing and each time the poor driver would get the same message from me when they called to say, it has already been delivered. Bearing in mind, we are still without a fridge and have now had to buy another one which I would like to mention arrived within 3 hours from ordering to delivery from Tafelberg Furnishers (if only we had used them from the get go). Numerous attempts to contact takealot with no luck, many emails sent, with no response! Today we receive an email from takealot to say they cannot help us, they we didn't log the 'damaged' fridge delivery, that 7 days have passed and sorry for us, we have lost our money!!! Really, absolutely disgusting! It was logged the minute the damaged fridge was delivered and all this waste of our time and they couldn't care! Dont use them ever, its not worth the hours of hassel and shocking lack of customer care!
Our daughters Uk visa never arrived in time for her travels to the Uk. Her flight was booked through Discovery Vitality to fly on British Airways. We have been completely disregarded by Vitality Travel, they keep telling us they can’t help us & to contact BA, when we get in touch with BA, they say they can’t help us as Vitality Travel needs to cancel the booking. We have spent about 6 hours on the phone to no avail. The customer experience is absolutely shocking to say the least, we get put on hold, transferred from one department to the next and then often cut off. We cannot speak to anyone more senior that can assist us. We haven’t even been able to capture an instruction to cancel, we do know how to get our money bank. We have nobody who can even help us with which options are available to us.

From engaging with the ops manager at enquiry phase to the admin around the whole move to the guys arriving on time and as friendly and helpful as ever, really makes a v stressful time that much more bearable!!
