I honestly never write negative reviews but I feel like this is my last resort. Almost a month ago, I bought a defy microwave from the online store to self collect on centurion. Before making the purchase I phoned to confirm the leadtime. They said 3 to 5 working days. after two weeks of nothing, I started following up. No reply from the online team and the centurion branch has no clue what's going on. On Monday I got an email stating; "Please be notified that your order is ready for collection at the Centurion, House & Home store. Kindly refer the attached collection document, do have it with you upon collection, together with your identification." When my guy got to the store they said "That email isn't a guarantee that your order is here, sorry" but we promise no later than Wednesday. I emailed the online team, no response... It's Wednesday and the centurion branch still doesn't have my order and have no clue when they'll get it. Ai tog. Wish I rather paid R50 more for it on Takealot. All the petrol there and back as well as the airtime wasted is already much more
Fast and efficient service. Had stock when nobody in SA could help!
Terrible ONLINE service. I placed a very large order, which arrived in two batches. To my horror only 3 of the 6 planters arrived. Two was broken to shards. It's an online exclusive product so I could only get it online. The large rug is also the wrong item. MRP has no whatsapp or phone lines anymore. You simply don't get through. I sent multiple mails, only to get a reply that I have to take the items to a nearby store, they didn't even attempt to address the missing items. Guess what? The store won't refund me because it's an online exclusive! I'm beyond disappointed
City Council Solutions sorted out what would have been an immense task for me in just a jiffy. I would definitely recommend them!
I received a phone call from Mobile talk more than a month ago. The agent explained they had a deal for uncapped LTE, which seemed good to me at the time. I told her I'm interested. After the call I received an email confirming my order. It was not uncapped LTE at all! It was the following: Samsung Galaxy A20 Black + Free SIM & Connection on FreeMe 1GB TopUp + 1GB Telkom Data X 3 Months Huawei E5577 Mifi + Free SIM & Connection on SmartInternet Top-Up 1GB. So two devices and 2GB of data! I felt absolutely mislead, and immediately phoned back again. The consultant "canceled" the order and reassured me that nothing will be debited from my account. (luckily for me all phone calls are recorded - right?) Two weeks later the couriers showed up with the parcel. I refused to sign for it. Mobile talk phoned me a few times where I explained the situation and every time I thought the matter was resolved. Debit order day arrives and I get debited with R150 not once, but twice!! I am actually fuming a bit. I dont know if Mobile Talk is trying to commit fraud or whether they are incredibly incompetent. You guys are in violation of so many laws and acts here. Have you even heard of the consumer protection act? Recognize the term POPI??
