Due to Courier Guy messing up, my order was delivered to the wrong person. I informed OPTMZ of this and I'm not even kidding, less than 5min later they had confirmed a new order with no charge. This company is absolutely brilliant and the quality of their products is fantastic. I have been their customer for a while now but after the excellent service I got from them They have certainly gained a life long customer.
WORST COURIER COMPANY! For the love of your SANITY please don't use them, use ARAMEX of anyone else. I bought some products during black Friday, they proceeded to deliver these products to someone else. Someone got a very nice free gift because of Courier Guy's mess up.
So I upgraded about 2 months ago at Vodacom Loch Logan on the 3rd Floor. In terms of the upgrade, I was supposed to get a Huawei P 30 and a P20 Lite with a sim card that also gets airtime monthly. However, on the day, the consultant that was helping me, Frankie, told me that they were out of P 20 lites and they will order it for me. "It will take at most 3 Business days". So a few weeks go by and I haven't received a call from them, so I go there again thinking maybe they forgot to call me. I was then informed that the phone hasn't arrived yet and It should be there in a week or so. Another month goes by and I don't hear anything. So I go there again. This time another consultant informs me that the phone was never ordered but that she has placed the order and it should once again "take at most 3 business days". It's been a week now and I haven't received any call from them. If I drive there again it will be the 4th time now. Also, It's been more than 7 weeks since I upgraded and were supposed to get both my phones and my extra sim card. At this stage, I'm contemplating just canceling my contract and going to MTN or CellC. AVOID the vodacom in LOCH LOGAN Bloemfontein at all costs. They are incompetent
So I ordered a projector on takealot on Monday. The delivery was scheduled for Wednesday and as promised my package arrived early on Wednesday morning. There is just one BIG problem, they sent me the wrong product all together. They sent me a microphone instead of a projector. I am still waiting for them to assess whether or not it's eligible to be replaced. They say that could take up to a week, I actually needed the projector for a presentation this Friday and I was confident that I would have received my projector on time. I guess I was mistaken. I'm very disappointed with takealot and will avoid buying from them in the future if I can find the product in store.
I'm having a Item shipped to me from the Netherlands. The due date for delivery is tomorrow however according to my tracking data only says: "Oct 11, 2018 11:00 am Shipment information sent to FedEx" Meaning the item has not even left the Origin warehouse. I hope that it's just an error on the system or something. I tried to lodge an inquiry as to why the shipment has not yet been picked up but have gotten no response from FedEx or the seller.

I found out today that I'm subscribed to a R30p/d service for the last 4 months. I have tried the STOP ALL sms but it never picked up any subscription. What happens is when you use the "Play everyday" service you win free stuff like data or discounts etc that services is Free. Most of the time you win free music or games or something like that. The first week or so is free cause you won a "free" subscription but then after the free period elapses they renew your subscription without any notification or opt in process( Note as soon as you "win" the prize you are automatically subscribed there is no opt in question or explenation). You are then charged that amount every day or week etc and it doesnt show on anything except when you go look for it on the My Vodacom app or online once you've registered.

This is obviously a way of making money. I canceled it by spending about 1hour on the phone with an operator. I asked her about it and she says that almost ALL of the people who phone in regards to that had no idea they were ever subscribed. She says thousands of people call about this issue and her personal opinion( vodacom employee) was that it's unethical to scam people like that. I wont reveal her name to protect her identity.

I am very vigilant and also very experienced when it comes to android phones and technology and i was scammed so easily. Now Imagine how easy a pensioner or someone who isn't good with cellphones could lose thousands on this way. VOdacom is it really necessary to prey on people like this when data prices in SA are already 134% higher than other BRICS countries. I saw the scam early and stopped it but lots of other people are completely oblivious to the fact that they have to pay every month for some BS subscription. My gran has personally been scammed like this and luckily I realised it and stopped it but she was completely unaware of the money being lost and the fact that she barely sc****s by on a pension check makes things so much worse. Be vigilant people they will take your money without apologies
