Sadly a very disappointing experience at Nicolway store. After some fumbling, the till operator eventually incorrectly loaded my purchase as a cash rather than card purchase. That was the least of my problems - seems they were unable to reverse the transaction and requested that I go through a return process so they could reverse the transaction. As I had not even purchased it yet I refused and asked to speak to the supervisor. Seems the supervisor had no authority to reverse an incorrectly loaded "sale" - a shocking case, all to common these days, of disempowered "management" with no-one of any real authority in the store. The silver lining to the story, I found another supplier who sold me the identical product for half the price.
A job professionally executed, as specified and on time. Highly recommended
(Ryobi Midrand) I'm pretty impressed, They came to the party when I said I was not happy that my 6 year old generator, which had only been used occasionally, had burned out. They offered me a meaningful discount on a brand new replacement machine.
<p>Having been a customer for ten years, experiencing, at best, indifferent service (for a Telecoms company they must have one of the worst call centres in SA), everything came to head when, without notice, their chargess suddenly went up by 400% for the identical service I had been receiving and paying for since we first became a VOX customer. To put this in perspective, VOX was already charging me double the going rate for the same service from another provider (simple domain & website hosting with linked e-mail addresses). Despite all efforts to resolve the problem they persisted in billing me for this outrageous amount until I closed the account and moved all our services elswhere. Now they are trying to sue me for something I never agreed to pay for.</p>
