I bought juice online that was on promotion in January, and the promotion was only online and not in store. I selected in store pickup because it's free, so I opted to pick it up at the Makro Germiston store which is closer to me. I received an email notification that my order was ready for collection, so I went to Makro Germiston. When I got there I was told that my order was not prepared in Germiston but in Meadowdale, because Germiston did not have stock, which was a lie because I went inside right after that and there was plenty of stock. I told them I cannot go to Meadowdale and I asked for my order to be brought to Germiston. A month later my order was still not at the Germiston store, I kept calling daily and I was not getting any help, it was basically the same cycle of "let me find out ma'am and I'll get back to you", which I never received any call back until I decided to call again. I then got tired of the back and forth and requested that the order is canceled and they refund me. I haven't received my refund and today is 2 months since I placed the order I never received.
Called to book my car for service on Friday the 14th for Monday the 17th. The guy who was assisting me to make the booking told me they will drop me off at work but they don't do pick up (I didn't make arrangements for transport to work because it will be provided). On Monday when I got there for drop off I wanted to report some issues I needed to have checked on my car, the lady told me I'm too late to report anything, I should've done that when I called to make a booking. I told her I've been doing it like this for the past 6 years, she told me it's changed, and no one bothered to tell me this before. I let that go, I was told to wait for transport, only to wait for over an hour and when I asked, they just kept telling me to wait. They should rather tell people that they do not offer any kind of transport upfront than make promises just to inconvenience people. Because I ended up having to find alternative transpot. Had I known this prior I wouldn't have had to sit for over an hour waiting for a transpot that doesn't exist. Also, there's no communication throughout the day to update the status of your vehicle.
I booked 2 tickets on computicket travel online in August from Fort Beaufort to Cape Town for the 15th of August 2021. Unfortunately the bus was involved in an accident and I had to arrange alternative transportation for the trip. When I called DMJ to ask about what I was supposed to do they advised me to send an email requesting for a refund. To this date I haven't received my money and they're now ignoring my emails and when I call they tell me they don't know when will the refund be processed.
I just want to thank Nosisi, a cashier at hungry lion circus triangle mall mthatha, for the love she showed me on the 22nd of July 2019 while I was placing my order. I was having a rough day but I left the place feeling much better. The world needs more people like her.
On their special (from 27 September to 4 October) they had a "buy bulk and save" deal of PnP Ultra All Purpose Cleaner or Thick Bleach buy 2 for R35. I decided I want two Thick Bleach since I can take any two of them, to my surprise the discounted price didn't go through. I was told I can only take one of each.
