We purchased the property through Standard Bank Homeloans on 15th July 2023. It's less than a year at the property! I'm deeply concerned and disappointed regarding the recent rejection of my insurance claim 24/043138. The reason provided for the rejection was that the damage was attributed to poor maintenance. However, I must insist that the damage was directly caused by an excessive storm that occurred on 21st and 22nd May 2024. An unusually severe rain storm struck my area, which I feel caused significant damage to my property roof tiles. The severity of the storm was beyond what could be mitigated through standard maintenance practices. In the aftermath of the storm, I promptly filed a claim with Standbank Homeloans insurance, including all necessary documentation and evidence supporting the storm's impact on my property through the assessor George Building Projects. Have said all this we're not surprised by the outcome. Other insurers have a KPI to payout claims. Standard Bank has a KPI to reject claims
I recently had the pleasure of using Move my car for shipping my vehicle from Johannesburg to Cape Town, and I couldn't be more impressed with their service. From start to finish, they exceeded my expectations in every aspect. Booking and Communication: The booking process was straightforward, and Chanay was incredibly helpful. They patiently answered all my questions and provided a detailed quote that was competitive and transparent. Throughout the entire process, they kept me informed via email and phone, which gave me peace of mind. Punctuality: They handled my vehicle with care, ensuring it was securely loaded onto the carrier. Safety and Condition: I was concerned about my car's safety during transport, but Move my car put those worries to rest. My car arrived at the destination in the exact same condition it was in when it was loaded onto the carrier. It was clear that they take the utmost care in ensuring vehicles are protected during transit. Transparency and No Hidden Fees: There were no surprise charges or hidden fees. What I was quoted initially is exactly what I paid. This transparency is refreshing in an industry where some companies try to add extra costs. Timely Delivery: My vehicle arrived at the destination as I had expected. This prompt delivery allowed me to plan my schedule without any inconvenience. Overall, I can't recommend Move my car enough. Their professionalism, reliability, and dedication to customer satisfaction set them apart. If you're looking for a car carrier company that delivers exceptional service and peace of mind, look no further. I'll use them again in the future, and I'm extremely satisfied with the entire experience.
Motor Vehicle Accident Repair with used parts. Dent Tech called to advise my vehicle is ready for collection. I went to Dent Tech on Friday to collect my wife’s vehicle but something was amiss. Most notably the two front lights and rear lights were not new and in fact, used parts that didn’t even look the same the one was very old and dirty. My left front mag wheel was scratched badly and that was not done by either myself and my wife. I was livid, to say the least, and went off at Dent Tech only for them to advise me that Discovery assessors (net assess) requested for GUP (Guaranteed Used Parts) to be used for my front lights rear lights and both front and rear bumpers. It must be noted that both front and rear lights were both working when I left the car at Dent Tech. Jacques was pretty nice and explained that they were instructed to replace said parts with GUP. He insists my lights were broken, I think that’s BS. I never received a copy of the items that were authorised for repair, a guy called me and read them out but never received the report. To be honest we were left rather heartbroken and disappointed that Discovery could do this. We felt ripped off and that this was a form of extortion. Firstly I do not think my monthly Insurance premium reflects GUP, had it been with one of the smaller budget-friendly insures I could understand this approach. Secondly, myself and wife own the following polices and services each with Discovery: 1. Medical Aid 2. Bank Account 3. Life Cover 4. Death Cover 5. Disability Cover 6. Savings 7. Retirement Annuity and 8. Insurance We don’t want anything from Discovery but we would like to take our entire business somewhere else.
Prepaid Account is listed on ITC as 4 months arrears but it's on prepaid. How is it possible to have a prepaid account listed on ITC. The collections department confirmed there's absolutely no outstanding money and the status of the accounts are in settled. It's hurting my credit record. Please for the love of... fix it
MTN service yet another bad experience. I called MTN Jan 2018 to change my banking details for my debit order and update my contact details . The incompetent staff member did not capture the details. I then called back at the end of last month Feb 2018 and asked them why the debit order did not run they advised the staff member did not update the details . I've been advised my Account is sitting with LEGAL and I should contact them. After calling more then 10 times only to be advised they do not take inbound calls and they will escalate it. Yet no one from your legal has called. This is terrible especially because this is a result of your staff which I must say are all incompetent. Now, my ITC is impacted immensely due to this incompetence. If you check my account is up-to-date. So the question is why is this at LEGAL. I will be lodging this formally with the Telecommunications Industry Ombudsman.

My MTN contract is currently at legal according to the MTN consultants at all your branches.

They advise me to call 082 808.

The consultants at 808 advised me to call 011 ********** which is your switchboard.

The switch board advise me to call 011 ********** which is also a switchboard.

And then I end up back at the 808 consultants.

Is there anyone at MTN that can assist me?
