I submitted a complaint in July and have still not received any feedback or even a reference number. Today alone, I have been disconnected multiple times after explaining my situation, and I have yet to receive any assistance, guidance, or clarity. I am currently under debt review, and the actions taken by FinSupport — deducting money without authorisation and failing to resolve the issue — are deeply concerning and *********. It is unacceptable that a debt-counselling organisation would further disadvantage someone already working to regain financial stability. At this point, it feels as though no one is taking responsibility or showing any urgency in resolving this matter. I am requesting immediate escalation and support to address this issue.
There are so many incredible offering from car and home loan to just finding a place where you can feel safe and trusted with the company you choose. Including covering your household items, and all within a price range. Love how the online process is so smooth and you get contact in a reasonably fast turnaround time. I absolutely love Old Mutual Wills offering and being able to set up my will ao efficiently and effectively has made it so much easier as the process is straight forward and the sections helped me think more clearly about how to divide my assets as well as consider what happens in the case of emergency and I am on a machine with the option of a DNR. Well done
Have received the absolute worst service from FinSupport. They called me and seemed to offer such generous rates to move from my current debt counselling company to them, and then heard nothing from them, and the transfer did not take place, and I decided to stay with my current debt company, and only then did they call to confirm I was not going through with the transfer and I confirmed I was staying with my current firm and asked to have the debicheck cancelled only to have them debit my account on the 25th and since then I have been trying for days, calling multiple times during the day at different times and I keep getting transferred to other departments and then hung up on. This has been happening non-stop, with no response to any of the emails I sent them, even though they were happy to respond to me via email when I was interested in transferring. I am so glad I never moved over as this has got to have been one of the worst experiences I have ever received, and I definitely would not recommend them. I just need my money refunded as the money they have taken was to pay off my current debt firm which I have not fallen behind on, because of them. People have been so unhelpful and unwilling to hear what I have to say
My daughter is in her 3rd year at varsity college and we have had the worst experience getting their help with queries, and their constant scheduling changes and even though we have made them aware of when her fees would be paid, which includes having a docket number as proof of the agreement they cannot seem to stop calling and harassing her to pay and yet every year there have been issues and money owed and yet today, she enquired what was owed and we paid what was owed, only to be told by Jesse that we need to pay more and that the statement they sent because it shows that she got 2 separate bursaries and that she only qualified for one, basically telling her that the extra academic bursary she got for her hard work and distinctions which we did not even know she got until we saw the statement that was sent through to us by the college, he basically is saying that if did not matter that she worked out because she is only worth a single bursary. Taking no accountability for anything but constantly hunting our folks to pay, while completely ignoring their own behavior. They have zero tact or guise, not just toward common sense but common decency and don't mind taking your money and leaving you stuck with irratic schedules, fees that just keep going up and little thought to the trauma the kids have to go through just to get an opportunity to study and grow. And there are so many who have no respect in their responses and treat you as if you're the one who is lucky they are reaching out when there are more than a few students who are still battling with money being owed to them from last year, being held back because marks aren't being released in time and kids who registered late this year because they were still waiting to find out they passed. Better is expected. The example you are setting for our kids going out in the adult world is heartbreaking. You need to work on getting your communication in order. You need to own up to your stuff and if you mess up, own it and don't go chasing parents to pay up and blindsiding both parents and kids. This cannot continue this way. Not after all this time. Not after all these reviews. The emotional and mental stress and trauma that comes from all of this are now actually war stories both past and present students are telling prospective students about when they consider where to go. This is the time to be the change you want to see. Be a part of the solution and not the problem.
I was parked out Foodeez market yesterday in Fish Hoek, and was about to get out when this man comes up to me and asks me to move my car because he truck wants to park where I a situated. I realize it is a Foodeez truck and I remind him that I am not parked in a loading zone and that is this a normal parking bay, and he tells me I still need to move so that they can be closer. I remind him that he is parked right behind me and in order for me to move out of the way I would have to turn my car around at the robots and park at the other side of the road. He tells me I can park behind them, and still I point out that I am only going to be 5 minutes in the store, and even to get in my car and park behind him I would have to drive all the way around the area and come back, in the hopes of this parking being available. And he tells me yes I can do that. I was so appalled and not just his attitude, but his demand that I make his job easier for him, when the truth was, He was just a few steps further than he would have been. It was such a huge disappointment in spending a public holiday walking around town and then having being treated this badly, and with so little respect. I was not even asked nicely, or with any kindness, but just expected to move. What if I had not been by my car? Would he not just have stayed parked behind me and done his job, instead of keeping me there more than the 5 minutes it would have taken me to get into the shop and back out, not understanding or even listening to my point of view.
Such a huge disappointment suffered from Shaw Academy. I signed up for a free course only to find out later it was the wrong course I signed up for and I sent them an email to cancel this and told them I did not want to be signed up for this course and they responded that the issue was resolved and I though that was the end of it, only to find an unauthorized debit order go off and their response to me is that when I applied for the free course I automatically subscribed and because I did not unsubscribe I was liable to pay. I was not even aware I was subscribed and they were not even willing to understand that was money that was supposed to go towards my daughter's school fees and no matter how many times I told them, I did not know I was subscribed, all they can tell me is it's my fault. Feel worse than violated by this experience. I feel cheated and just heart broken that this is the world we live in. Another reminder that there is just so little good and honest folk left in the world. I would never recommend this experience or this academy to anyone. And to the folks reading this, yes, I may have been naive and I have to accept this money is lost, but I hope this helps at least one person be careful when looking up Shaw academy.
I have been dealing with the online Vodacom branches for nearly a month, trying to upgrade my contract, and have had the worst assistance and service I ever thought possible. From getting the upgrades mixed up, to offering false assurances, I have never felt more sadness for the type of service our country offers than I am by what I have now recently experienced. Not only has the call wait for answering the first time almost been an hour wait, but it takes them five minutes to redirect you to the next department, and ultimately finding yourself, as a customer, with no one willing to take any accountability, and everyone just passing the buck. I am even now, as I am writing this, sitting on the line for 34 mins already, after being put through yet again, to multiple departments, with no one willing to actually help. I seriously have no words anymore
