The worst Vet, They just killed our dog. who was healthy and went in for a simple procedure to have him closed up. they couldn't care at all for him when we took him back yesterday after he took for the worst and this morning he past on. Three separate Vets have confirmed that there was extreme negligence but in how the procedure was done, the meds given and care given when the dog was taken back Never take your beloved pet to this slaughter hummer house horror.
My Son is a student at one of the Universities in Cape Town and on Thursday the 24th June 2025 he went to Pick n Pany Wynberg where he had an extremely terrible and nasty experience, I cannot bring myself to stomach such a nasty behaviour from a store of Pick n Pays stature. Below is my son’s account of what happen: Incident Report – Pick n Pay Wynberg On the afternoon of Tuesday, 24 June 2025 around 15:10, I entered Pick n Pay Wynberg, located at the corner of 4 Main Road and Eaglestone. After collecting an EWallet slip from the cashier, I made my way to the cheese section to browse. I spent a few moments examining the selection but found nothing that met my needs, so I decided to leave and continue shopping elsewhere. As I approached the exit, I was suddenly and aggressively blocked by a security guard who identified himself only as “Emotion.” Without any explanation or greeting, he demanded to search me. Startled by his abrupt and confrontational manner, I immediately refused and attempted to proceed toward the exit. Once again, he physically obstructed me and repeated his demand to search me. Feeling both intimidated and confused, I explained that I had taken nothing and suggested that he check the security cameras. Emotion ignored my request and instead escorted me—without consent—to the front office. There, we were joined by a female Pick n Pay employee, who identified herself only by her role. She was a Black woman whose tone quickly turned accusatory. Without any evidence, she accused me of *****ing cheese and demanded to know where I had hidden it. I calmly and repeatedly denied the accusation, reiterating that I had taken nothing. Yet they remained insistent on conducting a search—an act I continuously refused. It was at this point that the reality of the situation hit me: I was being ********ly detained. I requested to speak to a manager, but the guard, now joined by another in a Fidelity uniform, flatly refused. They began to surround me. What started as suspicion quickly escalated into ************. The female employee began reviewing surveillance footage, while the security guards openly mocked and belittled me—loudly and publicly—within view and earshot of other customers and staff. I stood there, humiliated. Despite watching the footage, the staff member was unable to identify any moment of theft. However, in an apparent attempt to justify their actions, she baselessly claimed I had concealed cheese in my pants. It was an outrageous accusation. Eventually, Thabo—the store manager and a Black male—arrived. I began to explain the situation, expecting some level of professional intervention. Instead, I was met with hostility. Thabo threatened to call the police unless I submitted to a search. By now, I was overwhelmed, frightened, and clearly under duress. Escorted by both security guards and the female employee, I was taken to a back room, where I was ordered to remove my jacket and jersey. Then, under pressure, I was told to shake my pants to prove I had nothing hidden. Despite my visible discomfort and continued objections, the security guards proceeded to physically search me and they found nothing. Because there was nothing. Even then, they showed no remorse. I asked once more to speak with the manager. My request was ignored. Instead, I was told to leave—through the back entrance. Humiliated, violated, and deeply shaken, I exited the store. This experience left me traumatized. I was treated like a ********, denied basic respect and dignity, and ********ly detained and searched without cause or consent. I request that this incident be formally investigated and that those responsible be held accountable for their unprofessional and discriminatory conduct
On Tue the 30th of November I took a Bolt Taxi in the Weltevreden Park area the Driver name was Karabo Leremi. I forgot my phone on the back seat. I immediately realised and began to call him as he was driving out. He completely ignored me even though he could hear me. I began calling my phone several times and my phone has a very loud rig tone to no avail. I went to the Bolt website, there was no contact number to call Bolt only a Support email. I sent an email to Bolt who only got back to me six hours later to tell me the Driver says he never saw the phone and that there was nothing they could do and that I must just go and lay a Charge. So basically this Company Bolt allows its Divers to steal phones from its customers. Have have spoken to several people and - most people have had similar experiences. For the safety of your belongings please don't use Bolt rather use Uber. If you have to use Bolt please don't accept a ride from Driver Karabo Leremi
Absolute rubbish Company, Absolutely unprofessional, Bad workmanship. They installed fiber at my house on behalf of Vumatel with the conduit just running along the grass and the cable exposed everywhere. and now that the cable somehow got cut they come home after I logged the call and leave only a very thin wire running and tell me this is a temporary fix and because you are out of warranty I must now pay them R1800 for a proper installation.
